Ringo and Sir Macca have a great sense of humour still. George was funny too, but John was the stand out comedian to me. He could poke fun at someone on Friday and they wouldn't figure it out until Monday. John could've just as easily been a stand up comedian: he'd run rings around a lot of the so called professional comedians these days. Lee Mack reminds me of John's humour very much.

Me too. Having to see the Fab Four each receiving their silver heart and speaking out how they feel about it. I just wish Brian would've gotten one himself, but nonetheless I'm sure he's proud of his boys.

Notice at the first episode of Get Back, when William joins the group and plugs in Paul's bass, John says "Who's that little old man?" And then look at William, who don't get the reference but ends up saying "clean though" without knowing where it's from.

They have earned silver heart awards, and back then before Ringo joined the band and it was just John, Paul, George, Stuart, and Pete, they were called _The Silver Beatles_ . I think you just came up a great pun! 😆 You know it was actually John that came up with the band name: _The Beatles_ . There's a video called: What does the name Beatles mean?, which explains how they got their name. P.S. I still say that Brian deserves an MBE *(Since it does stand for: Mr. Brian Epstein, get it?)* and a silver heart award. I bet Brian was proud of his boys on those days.

@@lisettegarcia7013 I bet he was proud of them too. I have a short interview of him in one of my recent Beatles videos called The Beatles’ Anthology Speeches. The funny thing is, there was a rock band from Lubbock, Texas known as the Crickets that were almost going to be called the Beetles, and four years later, the Beatles themselves chose the name they went with as an homage to the Crickets.

There's also a band called The Turtles as well, and I thought their song, _Happy Together_ was a Beatles song when I was little *(Get it since they have a song called **_Come Together_** ?)* . I should give that a listen if you made your own version of the Anthology Speeches. Yeah, I bet he was proud of them. And if you watch their Shea Stadium concert on KZbin when the Fab Four are performing _A Hard Day's Night_ , you can see Brian bopping his head to the song, knowing that he's proud of them.

@@lisettegarcia7013 The funny thing is, when I was making that House parody of the Beatles known as the Roaches, originally I was going to call them the Krickets to not be confused with the real rock band. It’s actually even funnier now that I say that because sometime yesterday, I made a logo for Scratch and the Cricket Crew from Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Kids by having their name in the Beatles font. The reason I did that is because there was a clip from the episode “Moon Music and Sun Songs”, and at the time when the comments of it were turned on, somebody said that the Crickets from Sunny Patch could be a parody of the Beatles. Go check it out if you want. Edit: The reason I went with the speeches is because I couldn’t find any of the outtakes anywhere else online. I’m sorry.

Savoy Hotel. March 20, 1964. During the filming of A Hard Day's Night. Harold Wilson didn't become PM till later that year, so he's still leader of the opposition here. Wilfred Brambell and Harry H Corbett present as Steptoe and Son was the big TV hit of 1963.
