No they’re just goofing around and John is learning the song “to boot”. He was still getting familiar with the lyrics and melody. I think Paul was happy to have everyone run through it regardless of how silly they were being. He was so stressed about the pending show that he thought was still about to happen. Reading through all these comments I think people forget these guys were kids. I think George was only 24 or 25 during the session - they’re just goofing around, don’t take it so seriously - just enjoy it. Yes they were geniuses. But they were still kids.
