Bonjour les jolies chanteuses; The MonaLisa Twins continuez de chanter les chansons des Beatles; moi je suis né en 1951 et je me souviens de leurs débuts. Je crois que leur première chanson était (Louve me Do ) Bye Bye les filles... 😍 💥 🧚 🧞♂ 🐰 💐

So great to see these beautiful ladies getting their peppers on a bigger stage. I have been trying to get them air time on radio for years. A good friend that recently retired from the recording industry told me it took a lot of pull to get anything on air. I believe it. I still got a couple of ideas. Haven't totally given up yet. For the girls---Keep On Going Keep On Glowing Keep On Growing

These two ladies are brilliant I've really only just discovered them when looking at some old Beatles music, I'm just so glad that there are ppl. like this who can do the Beatles so well, maybe not exactly the same but very authentic sounding! I remember as a very early teen probably very similar in age as your father, my 2 mates and my sister would be doing the long walk home at 11pm. or so after spending the day at our favorite swimming pool singing Beatles songs at the top of our voices, but we always sounded great . . . I'm sure we did! 🤣 One of my favorites was 'Oh Darling' and I'd love to hear Mona 'belting that one out' I think it would suit her even though her throat might be unhappy about it afterwards! 🤣 I think I fancied myself a bit like John and even had a very old pair of small, round glasses like he wore, not that I could see much when I wore them -too blurred! Later I realized that many songs that I imagined were John singing actually were Paul. Yes, they were so good together and with the other 2 members, a bit like the twins. 😘

That is the most wonderful thing about being twins, you are just as happy for your other half to take the lead. I have twin grand daughters and I fostered twins. It was clear that there was always a special relationship between them totally different to everyone else.

Wonderful interview. Can’t wait to see them perform in the USA. Especially here in NYC. Once the pandemic goes away, of course. The world will be starving for live music. Already is. Every time I see a MonaLisa Twins video they bring back the energy, excitement and beautiful harmonies of the Beatles and the 60s. 🎸☮️

A nice interview. The MonaLisa Twins have an understanding of the Beatles (nice parenting). Then comes... "who's your favorite Beatle?". I would expect that from a fan club interview. These are professionals, not tweens starting to feel their tits. Some respect, please. I enjoy that the Twins don't bastardize their arrangements. They stay true to the spirit of the original. That's what I come for.

And I must add that I LOVE your accents :))) Quick story: I lived and worked in Poland about 10 years ago...I had a very good translator so I could talk to my Polish co-workers.....he took a trip to England for about a week....when he came back he told me, "they were speaking English but I could not understand what they said".....LOL

Mona you seem to cling to the Ric 325-Miami. I hafe many Rics and love the 325 - it's light and plays much loike a banjo which is what John liked with his since he was more of that style of strumming. Does Mona like it because it is a very comfortable guitar - light and short neck. Mona looks like a petite gal and I suspect that's what she likes about the 325. Is that true. Also I really really love to watch her on the drums that seems to be a natural for her. And Lisa is one fabulous lead player - clean. I played for almost 50 years in a Beatles tribute style band. Keep up the great work. I love watching your exhuberance. Marty

the twins have great music (originals and covers) and great rapport with the interview camera (one of the Beatles greatest strengths especially during the mania phase). I think many will NOT know or remember the Cowsils BUT if you mentioned they were the inspiration behind the Partridge Family, everyone knows the Partridges. I hope someday the ML Twins will cover some Partridge family

I Love the Mona Lisa Twins. I don't know why this guy is talking about more about him and not them. It seam's to me more like he is trying to get them in to some American controlled record deal and self promotion. They are doing just fine as they are. The girl's are doing great. Let them keep doing what they do well and bring joy to the people that watch and listen to them. Don't try to make them something their not. Let them manage their own business, their doing fine without the B.S.........

As far as I know, Mona has two 12 strings and neither are electric. The first one she got in Australia, when she was 15. She does use a Breedlove in their acoustic videos.

Do you know if Paul McCartney have has listened to any of your songs ?
@ranaway93073 жыл бұрын
Paul seems to avoid any comments related to other people performing his or Beatle songs .. He was live on american tv a while back and watched a recorded video playback of a Korean Boy(BTS) Group being asked what was their fav Beatle song . When they started to sing the chorus to Hey Jude , Paul's facial expression appeared to be like a deer caught in the headlights ..

@beatles-a-ramatv42653 жыл бұрын
In what way?
@markraum47813 жыл бұрын
@@beatles-a-ramatv4265 For starters the interviewer referred to the MLT's ( in the present tense) as the House Band at the Cavern, well as the ladies corrected him that they had a residency at the Cavern beginning 6 years ago 2014-2016. Later he stated that the MLT's just released a new album of original material and as the ladies corrected him that it was a couple of years ago they released the original album (it was 2017 when they released the album)..Also he asked the ladies if they would consider putting out an album on vinyl...which they have already done on the ORANGE album 3 years ago.
@beatles-a-ramatv42653 жыл бұрын
@@markraum4781 which is why I ask questions. Not any fun if I give them the answers. And by the way, they requested that I ask “who’s you favorite Beatle?” As a lead in to their original song about John Lennon. :)
@markraum47813 жыл бұрын
No problem with asking the ladies who there favorite Beatle was...that was a good question to ask, but making inaccurate statements indicates to me that you did not do proper prepping before the interview ( ie indicating that the twins are presently a “ house band at the Cavern when they finished that gig 4 years ago and indicating that they recently released an album of original music which was released 3 years ago) Mona and Lisa set the record straight on both accounts
