Hon Cirus Jirongo this is a great platform. You are such an amazing leader. Through this platform alot is being activated. You are are actually doing more than most of our elected leaders. The advocacy you are carrying out through this platform is enormous and very efficient my senior. I salute you for the choice of speakers and ideas being discussed on this platform. This is the real agent of change that Kenya needs at this time. Iam personally very passionate about reviving our dead education sector. We lost big times as a nation when we embraced "CBC" This is killing our education sector. We didn't need to change our education system. All we needed was just to enhance it by eliminating the irrelevant topics and introducing what is relevant to our need situation. Hon Elachi is a great leader, she represents the ideal parliamentary leadership that Kenya needs to realize the much needed change Hon Cirus Jirongo this is the time to establish a cocus that can push the agenda for change in our current situation, especially in our education system. If we don't redeem our education sector right now we are finishing as a nation. I look forward to discussing and sharing more on this platform.

Kenya absolutely needs a woman president We need a woman to have empathy on Kenyans to love youth to manage the economy. We need women. Next election we need to elect a woman president. Ruto must be a one term president .

Absolutely correct.

I disagree with all these lamentations by women. Most Kenyans wouldn't have a problem electing a woman save for a few parts of the country. Charity begins at home and women only need to be convincing. Ngilu and Karua used to be elected under the old constitution. Women are the majority but they're their worst enemy. Example in 2022 elections when one of their own was to make history they mostly voted the other way probably meaning they prefer the status as it is. And even in interactions you could clearly hear them publicly castigating her sometimes even becoming personal instead of looking at the bigger picture.

Thanks again for the interview, it's analytical and informative. Mindset is key. Kenya is missing out on its treasure, the formidable human resource. Elachi, Martha to mention but a few. Rwanda is making the best of a limited human resource. Thank you.

Uhuru is very much to blame. He is the foremost epitome of an African who thinks Whyte is right, West is best. He should have read his Gikuyu intellectuals like Ngugi wa Thiong'o and DECOLONIZED HIS MIND.

Elachi is wrong. Leadership has nothing to do with gender. When she was speaker of Nairobi the county assembly was full of chaos. Gov Wanga is doing well not because she is a woman but because she is a leader. Leadership is a gift found in both men and women.

Basing leadership on gender is wrong. Why not on personality? Women rep positions should be scrapped in my view.

We need to rethink the political party governance system. Nomination for political seats need to be done in a way that is fair, meritorious and promote gender equity. This way we will be able to get good leaders men and women.

Madam Elachi it is true that Ruto doesn't recognize women at all.He has appointed them because of the constitution.

Is a woman president our solution?NYS scandal had a woman in charge, Kitui county finance offices burnt a couple of times when a woman was Governor. Hon Elachi is right though,Education,SHIF is a shambles. Affordable housing,a mess. These never ending taxes,a mess. And coming up is the yearly 5% vehicle tax. If this gets through our parliament,Ruto will not see my vote in ‘27.

The discussion is undermined by too many falsehoods and colonial mindsets. For example, Kenya isn't the US of Africa, and using the US as a comparison is bad cause the US is bad. People are living under expressways, building shelters out of plywood and carton boxes because the US government decided to cater to a few over the marginalised, vulnerable, and majority. That's not an entity to admire or compare to. Furthermore, Russia absolutely colonised and still does colonise a third of Asia, and is seeking to recolonise Ukraine. It's not just expanding territory, particularly in a way that doesn't infringe upon other people's territories.

Jirongo is a constant reminder that while you pray that your enemy fails and disappears into the oblivion, they can prosper and get to the top echelons of power and probably live a more beautiful life than yourself. Life is sometimes surprising 😂.

This country is being run with rogue government and Kenya is not yet ripe for woman’s liberation. If for sure women were to be future presidents in government today women should have voted for Raila Karua presidency but this is just wishful thoughts.😢
