There should be some damage limit on her sniper and shotgun ults…. There was a time where 1.5k-2k damage was counted as insane, but new released heroes and revamped ones are hitting 4k+ damage which is quite unfair to the old heroes who are not in meta right now.

They just have to make it so she would become slower when reloading and her reloading taking longer. A nerf on her shotgun would be to give her 2 additional ammo and flatten her shotgun dmg across those 4 shots so she would have to shoot twice on the basic atk then ult to get a kill. For her sniper, the basic attack should have the mechanic of the ult but without long range, then her ult would be like her ult now but instantaneously and deal more damage the farther they are. Also, her ult skills should empty her magazine, even granger has reload his guns after every attack skill. And her bazooka needs a buff

I think spreading the damage on her shotgun across 4 shots is unreasonable. It's main point is sacrificing range for burst, take away that burst is all you get is a shotgun that spews out cotton balls with the range of an arm's length.

this nerf was in the patch notes, but wasn't mentioned by Elgin I think. [Basic Attacks] All weapons now have a lower base attack speed and reload speed, but these properties will now scale with attack speed better.

As a tank user, I’m scared of Beatrix. Generally we can hold the line for 10s ish vs regular marksman, however I will melt against Beatrix cause of her absurd sniper/shotgun damage. Just imagine a tank with 200+ physical defense getting 3k damage from her sniper shots every time. That’s why I always ban her whenever I get the chance. All her damage output should be lowered by 50% and we’ll call it balanced - feels bad for all these squishy heroes that get one shotted, even regular marksman with critical build takes longer time to kill mages/mm/assassins.

@@hazieee.826 If that won’t work then can you suggest something that can reduce Beatrix’s popularity in Mythic 400+ rank down from 7% to just 1-2%? All in all penetration build for Beatrix is really good. The only marksman which can work well with the same penetration build is Lesley, though she won’t get the benefit of extra damage vs heroes with 75 physical defense or lower aka squishy heroes. Moonton should really give a chance to other marksman heroes cause Beatrix is too strong in laning phase, durability, escape, team fight and ambushes. She’s also the only marksman that defies the nature of ranged heroes cause of her shotgun, generally marksmen run away from melee heroes but not Beatrix, she instead melt them with ease. Damage scaling for her sniper and shotgun MUST be adjusted. Removing her shotgun is a great idea by the way. Basically speaking, versatility should come with obvious weaknesses in certain areas, be it items or perhaps battle mechanics - something that even I don’t know as a tank user cause getting too close can mean death to us.

Atleast for Wanwan's case, Moonton buffed her extremely good since her kit during release were, although not terrible, not that broken as well. And plus, Moonton was fine nerfing heroes even before their expensive skins were released.

This is not enough, I don't know how Moonton looks at things like this, but you see MM in general specializes in powerful long range basic attacks, while maintaining a safe distance from their targets, meanwhile Beatrix here flickering in front of enemies for a quick kill. The problem is her kit is just overpowered. I suggest just lowering her 1 shot potential for more counterplay, because currently in game, even if she's behind in gold, she can still 1shot you

I think it is pretty reasonable the only thing I noticed to the bea users is they don't use the bazooka. So I think it needs some improvements and buffs in that weapon of hers. Maybe, faster landing and more slow will be enough.

Everytime I used Beatrix like a couple of months ago before her "nerf damage" (brutal late game damage lol) I usually bought golden staff + dhs. I felt even better than Karrie and Lunox together xD. Now I think these 2 items will be meta for Beatrix if this nerf gets official PS: Although she still deserves a nerf on her shotgun damage (Albert Wesker 😂). I know she gets too prone to CC and burst physical/magic damage when approaching to enemy or flanked out but the damage is *absolutely nutty* and that's why Beatrix *can't* deal critical damage, otherwise she would be the most broken hero to ever be created on a moba game

I love golden staff because Beatrix's shotgun and pistols trigger more than 2 basic attack's effects so it's even better than Karrie for one shot any hero or even tanks. Blade of heptaseas only work good for single basic attack effect like Bennet and Renner as they have higher burst damage (%) compared to the other guns PS: By saying RE fan did you refer to Resident Evil?

Nah ur wrong, yes shes strong in the early game now but the problem was that she was broken in the late game, one shotting tanks is not the way to go in mobas. Bcoz of her one shot skills she was too hard to kill in the late game leading to many undeserved clutches by Beatrix spammers. In the previous Beatrix if u want to mark her late the trade had to be 3-1 atleast in enemy's favour coz she would take down two with no efforts. Early game matters but not as much. What really matters is that all heroes should be balanced and the old Beatrix was wayy too unbalanced.

This was a Great adjustment though, it's not enough yet, to be implemented in the official server. *(Because people would still complain)* I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these 2 adjustments that I'm about to say: *1: Adding a 1-1.2 second Delay (like Kadita and Vale)* *and Make it CANCELLABLE by using CC effects(like Tigreal's Ult)* *LASTLY, adding Effect/skill Range INDICATOR(like Mathilda's skill 1) to the Shotgun Ultimate.* *If they try implementing this, it will not Reduce the Shotgun's Damage, BUT It would Give Enemies more time to React to Try and DODGE or Cancel the skill using CC.* *2: Making her Sniper scale with both Distance and Lost HP percentage , It's like Layla's Ultimate and Passive, merged with Granger, Lesley, Brody, etc... 's Lost Hp Damage scaling(Using this in close range and High Hp enemies would make her deal around 10% of it's supposed Damage)* *This would make her Ult' s Damage Lower if you don't use it for Low Hp Enemies(thus being balanced).* About the 2 other guns, I think they're quite balanced right now, with some few tweakings needed for Bennet(Rocket Launcher) because it's still Slow and Easy to dodge, but the damage part is Okay already. *Disclaimer, this is just my Personal Opinion about this Adjustment, I'm not forcing anyone to like or dislike anything.*

I think this is definitely fair,I’ve trolled the enemy quite a few times in classic using “beaphobia” (the enemies were just laughing it off) Wesker is definitely too strong right now,especially late game since while your team’s taking the lord you can just camp in a bush and wait for enemies to come try steal,the nibiru adjustment is pretty decent since the burst damage is already quite powerful but adjusting the shots make it quite balanced in my opinion. On renner I’d say it’s a fair adjustment,the damage nerf was good and wider hitbox makes it easier to use. Bennet’s buff I’d say is good since out of the four it was definitely the least used.

This is not a nerf, more like adjustment, but I like it. Now it separates good and bad Beatrix players. The only thing is the sniper, I think the sniper should remain the damage and nerf the hit box, so it only suit for players who can actually aim.

The nerf is far from enough, she needs more adjustment: -Movement speed: 257 > 245 -Base HP: Reduce by 150 -Base Physical Defense: 20 > 15 Nibiru: Basic attack effect rate must be reduced to 15%. Demon Hunter Sword makes it too deadly Bennett: Increase shoot speed by 20% and area by 10% and remove warning spot from both attack and ultimate. The buff is not even enough and still inferior to other guns. Wesker: Increase ultimate channel time by 0.5 seconds and disable use of battle spells during the cast and greatly increase ultimate fan area but reduce width of each shot. Attack-ult-attack combo will still work. Reduce bullets to 4. Renner: Increase ultimate swinging speed making it very hard to hit. Skill 1: Increase cooldown by 2 seconds all levels and disable her from moving while casting Skill 2: Increase late level cooldown by 4 seconds but causes her 1st successful hit on attack to have more lifesteal Ultimate: Adjust cooldown of all ultimate to 36-28 and shares of cooldown state. Prevents the use of 2 ultimates through swapping guns. Need Backup: Only works until 1:00 mark through leaving combat for 5 seconds. Usable only while dead after 1:00 until end of the game. the problem with her is the lack of item that can counter her, unlike any other crit mm that can be countered by blade armor, or burst skill reliant heroes like saber who csn be easily countered with antique, there's no real counter against beatrix

I just fought against a really good Beatrix player a few hours ago in a rank game. She isn't as painful as before but she can quickly compensate by having a tank helping her. 2 frontline heroes protecting her made her even more effective. We got lucky during that game and fortunately won.

Well, every beatrix main knew this was coming. I have no clue why this took so long for moonton maybe developers have a secret crush on her? Whelp I'm a beat main with 500 matches 67WR i had my most absurd matches with her and more than 20 pentas im not that sad tho cuz this nerf might help me to try other heroes, to be honest after i started to get very good with her whenever i tried to play something else they just feel much much weaker. She is broken cause she can hit hard she can hit far she can one shot close range she can secure she can kill heroes trying to chase she can literally melt every hero exept enemy tank or tanky exp at level 4. Most of the times i played with her people could not think the amount of damage she can deal in the matter of seconds i've been acused cheating many times. I even started to play her with petrify just like the gusion players it was very unexpected at mythic and worked well :) With the new amblem system she is going to get powerfull might be stronger than her state right now, while the testing i had one of my alt accounts in beta and i tried to get the max physical pen. the result was insanely ridiclous to the point of one hitting zero armour wanwan with reener(sniper) at the end of the day we wont be 2 hitting mages with the sniper anymore, or cant take out the enemy base with 3 shotgun shots (btw this is not exaggerating i was able to end many games like this totally unexpected). While i'm going to miss the very broken days, she still going to be quite powerfull with the new system and because the totally broken fact that she can use 2 ults in like 6 seconds. Remember that one move from pokemon game where you take 99% of enemy's hp and leave them with 1 hp for higher catch rate? They should make it that if Bea's sniper damage get high enough to one shot enemies, her damage will instead be converted from physical dmg to max hp percentage dmg. Instead of one hit kill she will only take 90% of enemy's max hp, so that killing enemies will take two basic attack.
