Actually, no. I have a bog standard 2021 Toyota H-CR (Entry level/base model Tech/trim and engine) and it has Miracast built in to the Multimedia system. All you do is push the physical button labeled "Audio" to the left of the touch screen, then select "source" on screen, then select "miracast". Have your phone ready as It will immediately start searching for phones, so swipe down your phone notifications panel, make sure WiFi is switched on and enable wireless projecton/screen mirroring. When your phone finds the car, select it, then confirm on the cars touch screen, and vola, your phones display will now be displayed on the car touch screen and you can watch KZbin, Netflix, whatever you like. Only restriction is that it will not display video when the car is in motion, you must be parked otherwise it will only cast the audio. Enjoy
