BENJIN is right about picking one sound but what is the solution for someone who makes more then one type of beat? How specific does is need to be? Is it best to have a hip hop beats channel and do Trap, Lofi and Boom bap or Just do lofi only but then even with that do you just do chill out lofi? How far do We go? That is My dilemma. I cant really have 50 KZbin channels.

That's the double edge of the sword man, Im the same. I made a ton of grimy boom bap griselda type beats, but switched to trapsoul rnb a few months ago and i took a hit. But it is what it is, we cant change how KZbin works

I would love to have a 3d animated video for each beat but thats complicated and time consuming if not expensive so i tried stock footage but nah. I think ill stick to pictures for now but i still want to create freely when it comes to the vibes i produce.

I feel like I do have a sound, like chill rap joey badass j Cole Kendrick Lamar type beats. But I love also adventuring into other type beats like young thug, gunna, lil baby, drake. Do you guys really think that could be the problem? Should I just stick to my hip hop type beats?

at the end of the day selling beats in this format is most profitable when your beats appeal to a large group of artists. so trying to fully be yourself as a producer could potentially hold you back because artists tend to already have an idea of what they want to hear when they search for type beats.
