As been playing guitar over 40 years, there’s not been happening that many interesting things in guitar playing for last decades, but Plini is really good. Perhaps because his not emphasizing guitar too much. It’s just an instrument on it’s own right among the other instruments.

I don’t know much about guitar I’m a drummer, so you know what there aren’t many guitar players like him? Is it that the style isn’t popular or is he just special?

Plini is just voicing what we've all been trying to do since time immemorial.

Saw Plini live about 4 years ago in Perth. Really great. Jesus the drummer. Is it Troy Wright?

Pretty much everything from Plini is great. "Selenium Forest", "Electric Sunrise", "Every Piece Matters" for example, are all great songs. :)

I've never heard of Plini, but that was an enjoyable track. Kinda reminds me of Pelican.

Sylvan- Artificial Paradise. Twenty minutes of fantastic music. Every fan of prog should know at least this song of this german band. Btw One to Zero is the newest album from this year. Strong recommendation Jim!

The only thing I connect with the name Plini, is Plini the elder. Alan Davies from QI had his problems with him. What a combination: funky jazzy with hardrock/metal elements; a sort of Fusion. Not bad at all. It’s a joyful song. I quite like it. I can recommend Stomu Yamashta with Go One live from Paris album from the fusion genre.

How interesting you are reacting to this today. I just checked out this album this evening as I've been combing through the Top 100 of 2020 on www.progarchives.com and this album is there. Really great playing and nice songs, but far too much reverb and string synths for me. It reminds me too much of that background music you might hear in a fancy gift shop in a seaside town or quaint touristy mountain village. Turn the reverb knob down from 11 and replace the string synths with some crunchy B3 Hammond and I might be all over this.
