In this video we take a look in to the throw of Beau Greaves.
All my video's are based on how to play darts as well as advise on equipment and general darts setup with the aim to guide dart players in their darting journey.
I am a full time darts coach working with PDC Professionals and armatures alike.
I throw around an 80 average myself with my left hand due to in injury and dartitis in my right arm.
I may on occasion use footage from the Professional darts corporation (the P.D.C) as well as The British Darts organisation (The B.D.O). These are used under fair use legislation and all credit should be given the rightful creators.

I’m beaus brother, we put 41mm points in when she first started playing, she was shorter at the time and we thought it might help and the taller she got the shorter the points we put in her darts. Tbf she kept them that long for years and only recently started with a shorter point.

Great stuff. She'll be the first woman to breakthrough a be known as a darts player and not as a female darts player. Sherrock and Ashton have paved the way but it'll be Beau who can go all the way. Her biggest challenge will be handling the pressure and the mental side of the game (she's had pretty bad dartitus before). However, she's so young that she can take her time. She's good enough for the tour but should probably wait a year or two and then go for it properly. After that she could quite well keep climbing and be a top 16 player.

I agree. While I of course like Fallon as well and respect her achievements, I think it's rather absurd how she's treated like a goddess because she won two games at the world championship but hasn't shown much in terms of competing with the top PDC payers ever since. Beau on the other hand certainly has the potential to become a top 32 PDC player.

Could you do a vid on 'flicking the dart' with the thumb, or fingers? Is it something done after release to sort of push the dart toward the target?

Great analysis on a great, promising player. She probably is a nice, cute girl in real life, but when she comes to the oche, she is a dead serious, no nonsense player that can take on the best women and men in the world.

I met her about four months ago and she is very tall for a woman. I'd say around 6 foot 2 inches and she has wide shoulders as well. :)
