North Major, on the West Side of Town.... Delaware St. west of the mall, basically far West side of town is nice. There's a new strip mall out that way with a good Vietnamese Cafe, arcade, event center, and there's a ginormous soccer complex near the water tower with a beautiful walking/biking trail that goes through cow pastures, most beautiful sunsets there, all clean and well maintained/ patrolled by the city. Not a bad place to live, considering Houston is only an hour away, for bigger city experiences.

I was born in Beaumont, lived there until I was 7 in the Pear Orchard. My Mom and Dad are from there also. Well my entire family…. They all went to Hebert HS. I would visit my cousins and grandparents and stay every summer from Houston. I will say the home my Dad built on Flamingo lane still looks good. He built it on 1968. My Grandparents lived on Harriet St. and Waco st in the Pear Orchard. My parents even went to Lamar. I’m shook at how it went from middle class to run down. Kinda makes me sad. I have beautiful memories of Beaumont. I’m in DC now. This was fun to watch. I was. Also baptized at West Tabernacle Church. I still have a few older relatives living in Beaumont. ❤️❤️❤️

When this video came on I knew exactly where this was. I was born and raised in Beaumont. The most dangerous part of the city is Ace Block and the 4 fa sho!

I may have to visit there. What's it like? Is it a safe place to live?
