GirlFRIEND!!!!! You are unbelievably, stupid good with mixing and matching color and texture! You never ever ever disappoint with your looks! That purple look is just mouthwatering! ❤ I love both of the looks, though! I love the UltraViolet palette but for some reason, my eye is just really drawn to the Dead Roses palette! I really don’t have anything like it in my collection, surprisingly, and the fact it’s BBB seals the deal for me! I gotta have it!

I didn't think the 2nd look would floor me, but it floored me. You are so very talented! I feel like if you have the Basic Witch palette, you can probably skip the Dead Roses palette unless you want the reds. Both looks were stunning but the 2nd look was outstanding. Still, I think that the Ultra Violet palette is a complete purple lover's dream. The glowing inner eye corners on the 1st look makes me wonder what an iridescent shade like Digital Zombie from Recently Deinfluenced would do for that look? Its like BBB said “challenge accepted” to the Gothic and Winter Wonderland palettes.💜💟 😈 👾 🍇

Dead Roses isn't the color story I thought and hoped it was going to be, based on the cover. I wanted blacks, rich browns, a little pink, REDS (matte, shimmer, holo, multichrome REDS!). So, I'm waiting to see if I warm up to the color story that it actually is!

Even though I will almost always choose a purple look over reds... the metallics from Dead Roses stole the show!! 🤩 I will for sure try to recreate that look and maybe be inspired by Dead Roses to be a Valentine BYOP 😊

I love both looks!!!! Back in the day (early 00s) purple was so rare in real makeup! I had all of the bright singles that covergirl had (purple, lime green, teal) and I had to use a wet brush to get any type of color payoff. So happy the formulas have vastly improved!!!! I absolutely adore both palettes but if I had to pick a favorite, it'd be ultraviolet! The only all purple palettes I have are flight club and violet ink so maybe it is time to add something new! I really want melt to come out with an all purple palette (pop of orange or yellow) for one more 420 collection lol. Putting it out there in the universe!!! 💜🖤💜

@@darciedressman802 well, I don't really know what people mean by beginner friendly. I dove right into lose pigments when I first started really getting into eyeshadow so I feel like anything could be beginner friendly if you want to learn. I haven't tried this brand's formula yet to speak on the blendability, and if you are asking regarding the bold colors, I feel like color is for anyone. Half the fun is playing with different things and figuring out what works for you!

Hi, your vids are always so great! And, those palettes !!! So far, I only have 1 palette from BBB, it made a (brand) believer of me... I went with their Oracle Chrome (highlighter) palette, I (cringe) tried all 3 of the Indie palettes that came out at that time; Oracle was totally my fave and is where I go for a highlighter about 90% of the time!

Great looks Betty Jean.. I plan on purchasing both palettes. I love BBB. I am a Senior Citizen, but I have always loved purple eyeshaodws. I still do.actually think the Dead Roses look was my favorite though. I have the BBB Star Crossed Lovers palette and think it would play well with that one too.😍

Omg I'm trying to be more picky about what i bring in this year (specifically eyeshadows/palettes) and I had talked myself out of the Dead Roses Palette but seeing it on you makes me want it again 🙈 idk I think I'm going to try to stick to my gut and just get Ultra Violet. Depends on what your vibe is! If you ONLY want to do purple looks/incorporate purple then go ultraviolet. If you also want reds & pinks then go dead roses.
