Top notch; nice to hear a modern approximation of old school Indian music finally brought into this century w/no cheesy 'uplifting' notes/scales. It retains the feel of the older masters (Bade Ghulan, Ali Akbar etc.). Seriously, it sounds great, well done.

I've bought it in 2011, never regret about it and I'll never sell it. It's a great pedal, it's not so versatile, it has its own specific sound that you can't use in every track, but if you like these kind of sounds you must have it. 🙏

Can the ravish sitar do those huge Low end Drones? It's hard to tell in some of these KZbin videos
@PerryFrank4 жыл бұрын
Yes it can do it, you must have an expression pedal to control the volume of the drone part.
@chuckmccroskey48644 жыл бұрын
I have one that I’m using a Jerry Jones Master Sitar with. What I did was record a low drone tone onto a loop station by holding the instrument up and shaking it and beating it on the back. The strings would resonate in a natural breathing way, loud then soft, rising in volume then lowering. Then I hook the loop station up to it’s own channel. Then run the sympathetic strings to another channel (AER amp), then I run the regular strings into a Swart Atom ( 5 watt, 6V6, 8” speaker.
