It’s obvious that Europe has a different concept of Aquaculture than the USA. We are years behind the European hobbyists. The values we put on aquariums is not that high on American importance. I love your zeal for the hobby, and I commend you Europeans for your love of the Freshwater World of Plants, Fish, and Shrimps. What most Americans don’t see is that this hobby enriches your life. It even helps with all the chaos of the everyday life. I always enjoy watching your vids. I always try to see you when you visit the USA, but something always come up. Thank you for sharing.

2:30 to jest absolutne szaleństwo. Absolutny majstersztyk. Zajmuję się akwarystyką 30 lat i do tej pory nie wiem jak można utrzymać taki czysty i kolorystycznie ułożony zbiornik z tak trudnymi roślinami, które nie są w ogóle zaglonione. Petarda na maxa.

I've watched this several times. The Dutch aquascape is stunning. I would love to see it in person. Simply gorgeous. I'd love to have a tank like that, but I know that I would not have the time to devote to keeping it looking beautiful. If you do one George, you'll need to teach the kids to trim. LOL. You travel so much, I think you'll end up with a jungle. I also loved the shallow tank with the waterfall. That's another tank I would love to have. I'm toying with doing a simple waterfall feature in the 55 gallon I just bought. SerpaDesign did one in one of his tanks that was simple enough I could do it. I like the new(ish) intro with the graphics within your logo. Take care.

Heyah George, cool little aquascaping shop. It’s interesting to see the different stores around the word, thanks a heap for the tour. I don’t really get into Dutch style scapes personally but can appreciate their beauty and this one gives a lovely feeling of autumn. Ohhhh, I would spend a long time in that gorgeous shop. There's a lot to see!! I love the cube scaped tanks with all the beautiful buce and moss. The plants in the Dutch aquarium are amazing. I have a Dutch style aquarium that has been evolving over a 5ish month period and I just recently started shaping it (the last two trims)and Love my scaped Dutch aquarium now. Everything started balancing out over the last month or two. Yes, Please consider your next scape a Dutch style. I would love for this to happen💚and to follow the progression of it all.

@antonius37454 жыл бұрын
Yeah i love Dutch aquascaping too. There are some misunderstandings about this style. The first is that there are no hardscapes but that is not true. In the beginning it indeed was the case. Later on they made terraces so there were different levels. I have even seen one were there was hilly-scape and on top were tiny plants. Then driftwood and stones etc are also used but not as much as in the natural aquascaping. The good thing is you can use very different plants and combine shape and color in one composition. The aquarium are mostly over the 100cm and that brings one problem the so-called cold-feet. The dutch aquascapers in the past solved this problem with a bottom-heating cable. It does not warm the water like a normal heather but adds some few degrees so a little upwards stream in the soil generates and feeds the plants. Kasselman advises to do so. But in the other aquascaping never saw this.

I'd love to see your version of a dutch aquascape. Going to try my hand at it in a low tech tank, gonna be difficult but possible. Maintanance will likely be alot but not so much for me without Co2 the plants will grow slowly, from my experience with my low water here...plus it's winter, nothing better to do.
