Ann Wilson was the very first collaboration on any of their albums. You may not know the name, but you do know the band Heart from the 80's and you've definitely heart the son "Barracuda". She was a powerhouse before Disturbed.

Not knowing Ann Wilson? The curse of the late birth. Ann, along with her sister Nancy, is the founding member of Seattle based rock band Heart. They started in 1975 and Ann is still, to this day, recognized as one of the best rock vocalists of all times. Check out Heart's performances of Barracuda (from the 70ies), Alone (from the 80ies) or more recent, their cover of Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy honors for Led Zeppelin...

Well, I am your total opposite. I never heard of Disturbed. I checked out your reaction because Ann Wilson was in the title. I'm 66yo now and thinking back to the full size poster of Ann I had on my bedroom wall as a teen dreaming of being her Magic Man.
