Listen to Hold Onto Memories, The Light, their cover of If I Ever Lose My Faith in You originally by Sting, and A Reason to Fight. These are all some of their more soft songs. And fun fact, David Draimon is a classically trained singer, which is why he has the range and control he has.

Listen to The Light, Hold on to Memories, Inside the Fire, A Reason to Fight, or any of their songs. They have everything from really heavy metal to more soft ballad songs. They are an excellent band of very talented musicians.

Hi Bob. This song is amazing and David and Ann sound great together. FYI Ann still Rocks at 73 and Heart is also going on tour in April to celebrate their 50th. Ann also is still Beautiful

David’s voice is incredible..I love his more than any other male singer. To me, his voice is like the most perfect instrument. I love Ann Wilson’s voice as well, Heart was always one of my favorite groups. My voice teacher said my voice reminded her of Ann’s except I was a 1st soprano back then. This is an amazing song..very powerful! David’s wife left him not that long ago, I wonder if this song had anything to do with it. Thank you for a great reviw! 😊

Hey Sandy! Nice to hear from you! He has an amazing voice. 1st soprano. You were and awesome singer for sure. This song was amazing. I loved their two voices together. Incredible song. If he split with his wife this song could be connected to that like you said. Take care!

This song is written at the request of Dan, the gitarist. It is about his divorce. Little did they know that a couple of months later David got divorced. That why you hear the emotion in his voice and see on his face. Other songs are: Hold on to memories, Reason to fight, the Light.

The guitarist Don Donovan came up with the concept, then wrote the lyrics with David's help. More about Don and his marriage but does fit with David also.

For some reason I have a fond place for their song Stupify. Interestingly, David actually displays a bit if his experience as a Jewish Cantor in that one.

First off, your title is Sound of Silence, not Don't Tell Me :). I enjoyed this song. Ann has always been a gifted singer, although I would have liked her voice to have had a bit more volume when they sang together, but that also could be the video. Nice guitar lead, all the vocals were well done, but it's a bit dark for me for an entire song. His voice and the guitar/bass all combine towards a dark or heavier sound, but that's the base theme of the song. He does indeed have a distinct voice, and I liked that Ann was included, been a while since I've heard anything new by her.

Hey Guy! Yeah I was trying to upload it this morning and ran out of time before I could get all of the details done. I had to leave for work. I figured as long as it got up for the members I could change everything later. Thanks for letting me know though. This was a great song and it was great to hear Ann Sing with him. Dark song for sure but great too. Thanks for chiming in and for thr coffees today.
@guygourley241110 ай бұрын
@@bobcieslinski Yeah, I can be happy with the one song, but if there were two dark ones like that back to back, I'd have some trouble, lol. Oh, so far the car is a water pump replacement, but it still won't start so they are trying to determine that reason. At least it's getting there, and I suspected the water pump would soon fail just because the car has almost 120K miles on it. Enjoy the weekend!
