We are having a open courtyard in hall finished with MS steel covered with a clear toughend glass on top. The problem is we are experiencing extreme heat in the hall. And that too is summer it is very difficult and always the hall feels very much heated. What we can do to avoid this sir?

I want to keep my courtyard open but face a lot of dust problems that get accumulated on my first floor as well :( ... I was thinking to replace the Jalli surface with Windows which can be closed and opened based on our needs... aesthetically it may not be good... Anyways love your pragmatic design thoughts!
