Trust me when I say that I mean no disrespect here, I offer only my thoughts to a fellow Nightwish fan. Regarding Tarja, Annette and Floor, I see 3 different vocal instruments. These ongoing comparisons between Floor and Tarja are equivalent to comparing apples to oranges, a katana to a longsword or an Xbox to a PlayStation. Each vocalist is a fan favorite due to the listener's needs or tastes. Tarja's vocals on End of an Era and Floor's vocals on Wacken, 2013, both bring me to tears for example. No worries, there are worse comparisons. For instance, I've heard chums claim that Floor Jansen sounds like Ami Lee! A few other chums tell me that Nightwish is a Transiberian knock-off band!! Different singers different bands...to each their own. We are fans of Nightwish. We have an army. We are legion! It falls on us to help keep the magic going. That IMHO, is what is important.

The music genres represented on 4 stages at this 3 day open air festival are usually a mix of metal, emo, rock, pop, and hip-hop (mostly German artists but in the last couple of years also a steady growing number of international acts like the killers and nightwish)
