globally a 737 either takes off or lands every 1.5 seconds, that's a LOT of flights everyday. I agree they have the bean counters running things. But overall I would say the 737 has a very good safety record. I was mainly commenting what a great view they have from the flight deck of the outside world, especially at night.

The landing was beautiful, but the view was only partial, very limited, n no cockpit communication was clear. I actually enjoy cockpit communication. So the overall I would give 4 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being excellent n 0 no good at all).
