What kind of community fish you can put with just 1 firemouth in a 40 long?

Barbs and tetras (that cant fit in their mouth) would probably be safest choice. Any type of community fish basically. Other cichlids are possible tankmates but it becomes really risky because you have to know how to reduce aggression and sometimes even the best techniques might fall short if either one of the cichlid is just a maniac. Personally i would do tetras that are just big enough to not be eaten. That way its safe and you will get to accentuate the size of the firemouth because of the contrast in size between them.

Keep monitoring your nitrate. If it doesnt change either direction for a few weeks, you could try it!

Yes I do. I fertilize with seachem flourish, potassium and iron! The latter two i feel arent a necessity, more for faster growth but overall these keep my plants healthy!

Hey man! I see you're serious about youtube eh. I currently use for majority of my videos, a nikon D5600 with kit lens, a rode mic and gorilla pod. Tbh its not necessary at all and in my earlier videos i used a gopro hero 7 with an external mic and the adapter.

Exactly. I think its a matter of not seeing it worth their time and effort to study each species individually to determine the impact or maybe they felt CITES was not accurate when it came to turtles.. or idk someone was just too lazy and decided to ban everything. And to unban it is 10000x harder.

The fins were all messed up. There was a lot of fin rot going on in the aquarium. Some were so bad i didnt film it.
