Such incredible fish. My cichlid is very smart. I see him actively trying to figure out what I want from him when I teach new tricks. My favorite fish I have ever kept. Easily with the most personality I have kept.

I really hope that the fish hobby would be alive again in sg, it seems like nowadays many people are too glued to their mobile devices to even do this things. Also fish shop owners in SG don’t earn much pls at least try and come down to support them

For me I love tiger barbs wayyyy more than tetras and guppies. Their more entertaining and fun to watch, and since piranhas are ban in SG tiger barbs are the mini versions of it. But one thing is for sure tiger barbs are aggressive. Owned a few many years ago and at midnight they were fighting with the blood parrots

I first started this hobby back in 2014 but stop at around 2017 due to expenses like paying for the electricity etc etc. whilst seeing fish videos like this makes me want to start it all again

I just bought two! They ate the fern plant in days!! Some is stripped from the plant and bunched at the bottom of the tank.. what does that mean? Yes one hides one doesn’t until feeding time also they hate light and love the dark

Hi I have a 40 gallon breeder with 20 Tiger barbs. Can I add one blood parrot?
@wickedskillz10124 күн бұрын
You ever try it ?
@MambaMtb24 күн бұрын
I did for a week. I had a 75 gallon and it looks so much better. The 40 breeder is too small and you can’t really appreciate their schooling behavior with a smaller tank
@wickedskillz10124 күн бұрын
@@MambaMtb I see. Still got the parrot with the tigers ?
@MambaMtb24 күн бұрын
@@wickedskillz101 yes 20 tigers , one large bp, 5 clown loaches and one firemouth in a 75. It’s a cool setup

this made me realise that i was doing water changes for no reason! i have a very heavily planted tank with two helmets, around 10 neocaridinas and a betta used to live there, it's a 10gal, my floating plants, mosses and limnophila are going absolutely crazy and there is close to no algae, there's some on the filter output and a bit on the driftwood but my glass is crystal clear

I am looking to get rid of my 2 blood parrots. They are terrors in my tanks, I've had to move them to three different tanks because of their behaviors. So annoying to all my other fish, I will for sure be taking them back to the fish store today most likely. My jack dempsey pair just had fry about a month ago so they can go in the 50 gallon that the parrots are in now.
