My nitrogen cycle has stalled 😢 The ammonia has gone down, but my nitrite is stuck and has been stuck for 2 weeks now. I did a 35% water change and am waiting now to see what happened next. That is awesome. I have convicts, and compliment them with Tiger Barbs, and a few Siamese Algae Eaters. Great complementing colors, personalities, and swim patterns. I see this guy includes loaches.

I have a IBC with Tilapia in it and Black Acara Cichlids The tank is a 1000 liter I did put some tetras in there and they are doing great I thought that they would get eaten but they have actually grown these tetras get bigger than barbs and they will nip I had one in my other Aquarium with my gold fish and he was way smaller than the other 4 in the bigger tank

He looks awesome. I’m sure he has brought you so much joy. I also love how you can scoop out your own fish at that store. My local fish shop had a few that were 2 inches long and they already looked amazing but I only had a 40 gallon breeder tank that was available for it but they get so big. Hopefully one day I’ll have a tank big enough.

I absolutely love my blood parrot! His name is Clem (short for clementine) and has the best personality ever. He's one of the smallest in my tank but is definitely the boss

I have my baby cooter Maui living with a betta sorority, he has no interest what so ever and the girls behave, im sure because they have him kinda breaking up the commotion when they are all together, this is also in a 20 gallon with double filtration, sponge and hang filter, eventually want him in a 150gallon in the next few months.

Convicts are wolves. The only thing keeping your male convict from taking on the flowerhorn is that he thinks the other fish might oppose him in the mutiny. I've been in situations just like this several times, right before I get a bigger tank to spread out the "nature" a little lol

Best fish with turtles are :tiger barbe, silver dollars, red tail sharks (or rainbow). Cichlids are ok when they are small but not good if they bread in the tank.

i LOVEEEEE blood parrots! my grandparents had 4 of them in a big tank in their office and I've been obsessed with them for over a decade. they're definitely my favorite type of aquarium fish. nowadays only one has survived and they got them a new tankmate. that parrot must be over 15 years old at this point. ugh. such cute fish
