We want to do the guided tour that the booking isle Borromeo site offers. It says you can add transport with speed boat. Did you use this form of transportation? Wondering if it gets you wet or is too rough?

I visited the three Borromean islands on my own and I used the 1-day hop-on hop-off ferry ticket from Stresa. Additionally, I bought the tickets for the palaces at Isola Madre and Isola Bella. The boat ride is short and not rough. If you wish, you can buy the boat ride tickets here: rb.gy/njspzk
