In the Philippines, mixed people are revered that's why Nancy is so popula. But this isn't the case in Korea. I think mixed people are even bullied in Korea. Chanty of lapillus is goddess level in the Philippines in terms of beauty, but in Korea she is sometimes even seen as too fat/big boned.

As NJs gains popularity over the years to come (especially when they’re all legal adults) they’ll start being respected more and gain a steadfast fanbase that’ll overpower many others, but that’s not the situation at the moment. Especially with their fanbase being so young on average

I've been a K-Pop fan since the early 2000's when I was a kid, and from what I've seen, the "beauty rankings" are more of a popularity contest rather than an actual rank of beauty, hence why many beautiful idols are overlooked for silly reasons

I get what you mean but I think both are taken into account, popularity plays a big part but the only reason Wonyoung is that popular is because of her visuals let's be fr I think Danielles visuals are on par with Wonyoungs but she looks like a foreigner and the ones who care most about visuals are the Korean fans so they point things like these out and make the rankings
