It is said that the conditions for Sophie to age or rejuvenate are linked to her mental state. When she feels valued and confident in her own words, actions and existence, she rejuvenates. The next Ghibli movie I recommend is Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind!

I truly believe that "Merry-Go-Round of Life" is the best piece of music ever written for a movie/tv show. It's so fucking beautiful

This is one of those that I prefer in dub because of Christian Bale as Howl, but both are equally wonderful

Ponyo, it's beautiful cute ghibli movie 👩🏻🦰🪣 And, "when marnie was there" it's quite interesting and mysterious I'd reccoment when marnie was there slightly more because basically no channel reacts to it, even tho it's studio ghibli every channel who do a studio ghibli marathon seem to completely forget about it

Nausicaa!!

When Marnie Was There is my personal favorite. It has more tonal consistency, & is set in the modern real world, so it may be easier to follow & react to. Though there's probably a reason why the bizarre ones get more hype lol (Spirited Away & Ponyo would be my picks for fantastical movies.)

I love this movie!! Not my first Ghibli, (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind), but it's one of my favorites! Great reaction!

9:18 The reason food scenes became more prevalent in Japanese anime was because of "Heidi, Girl of the Alps," which director Hayao Miyazaki worked on when he was young. Of course, there were food scenes in other anime as well, but it was Miyazaki's work that made them widely known.

How did you feel about the German adaptation of Heidi? the 2015 movie adaptation
@rosso757510Ай бұрын
@@アキコ2003 I felt that the staff who made that movie were influenced by Hayao Miyazaki's Heidi. The characters are very similar to the anime, so I think Japanese people will be able to enjoy it without feeling strange. The melted cheese scene looked very delicious.😋

I always enjoy watching channels react to movies from my childhood. They are still as magical to me as they were when i watched them as a child, as it rained outside grandma house, my obasan~👵♡ Whenever I watch ponyo in specific, i feel like a little girl again and the world turns cozy (I do a ghibli marathon every year atleast once)
