Lived next to a Indian Reservation for 3yrs the young girls were beautiful but by time they were 15yrs and run through by their Uncles and various other relatives they were on the road to ruin and drug dependency, all very sad. The Chiefs and their relatives and friends wouldn’t have it any other way they have absolute control of the reservation/money and our Government doesn’t seem to mind.

She was a Native American Woman by being raised in the Blackfoot Culture, but was probably of European origin. I find your work very credible and timely, as DNA does not tell the whole story. I would have preferred you to have left that out and animate their faces as they would have really looked from the pictures and THEN show them glamourized to our modern taste. Both of my grandmothers were Cherokee and both of my Grandfathers were Irish. I always thought my grandmothers were beautiful and their long flawless black hair was so impressive. I have many pictures I have copied of my family and even though I am in my 70’s I still love to show them to people when they start talking about genealogy. Great video!

I'm full blooded Native American, Kiowa Tribe, I don't really think most of us care as much as politicians care that it sounds racist. How many years have these professional teams been around and we Natives haven't made a fuss about it. I think it's just politicized bs. I'm glad the Florida State Seminoles are still around. A lot of Oklahoma high schools are still Native American themed. It is an honor to have us recognized imho.

Not in all cases, but quite a few Irish, Scots fur trappers where in America long before the 1800's and bred with the Native Americans on an equal and fair footing. Colorizing is nice, changing the expressions and shapes and wrinkles and individual features of the face. Not so much. Let's at least try to keep it real

The program you are using completely changes many of these women. In most cases the hair color is changed to lighter softer colors and not maintaining the original shining obsidian black hair. Many of their noses, mouths, and cheek bones are changed. It also lightens their skin color. Many changes that also occur are the eye colors changing from the original brown, dark brown, to near black eye colors to shades of BLUE. Many of these women are completely changed from Native American into having very European skeletal and skin characteristics. It's not good at all. Many of these women look like models with their hair and makeup done. It's not the proper program to be used for Native American women. But honestly, what program would do that for these pictures and keep Native women looking Native? This program robs these Native American women of their Nativeness and stunning Native beauty.

I worked with a native American lady, and things that I have heard about they smile stick out,.... in native American culture, it was rare for a woman to smile,... she always looked serious,.... it was the expected etiquette of a lady,... when they did smile, it went flat, or down like a frown ☹️ it was a little bit trippy,.... she would be standing there with this unique extreme frown,.... and she was happy,.... lol I see that in these pictures,... the AI makes them smile, but it is not accurate,.... you can see the difference in the old pictures,.....
