During my travels around the globe, I've been through Philly many times, and without a single good experience. I used to mock the city's status of "city of brotherly love" because my experiences were quite the opposite. I was a decades long Pats fan, need I explain further? I suffered a severe disability due to the pandemic, and once again, football became that "thing" for me. A reason to look forward to tomorrow. I started seeing Jason all over sports media, mostly because all of it became important to me, not just my tiny slice of the pie. I grew to love Philly because of Jason Kelce. I rediscovered pure love for the sport. Can't tell you how many times I've screamed my head off cheering for the Eagles. Y'all are blessed that he's still part of youir great city and sports legacy! I look forward to seeing more of the Eagles play this fall. My love of Philly didn't retire with Jason. It's because of him that I don't have one favorite team anymore. I can just love the great game.

I love the Chiefs (born/raised in KC), and acquired a taste for the Iggles courtesy of my 34 year Philadelphia bride. Hard to believe I’ve been to more Eagles games at the Vet than Chiefs at Arrowhead. Everyone should root for one opposing conference team. I’m living in that awesome time. So happy for the Eagles Super Bowl win. The Kelce brothers took the relationship to the next level by accident or vagaries of fate. Both cities are blessed to have them.

As a lifelong Miami "Dolfan" whenever the Dophins were eliminated in the playoffs (or didn't make it), I'd always route for the teams that never played or never won a SB. I routed Phily back in 2017. They had just acquired Jay Ajai from us, and I started rooting for the Eagles in the playoffs; especially since they were playing the despised Patriots and WON! That's when I came to know about the greatness of Jason Kelce and his subsequent podcasts with brother Travis. It's been awesome watching you play and showing the grit, class, and preserverance of a man who blossomed later in his career. Dwight Stephenson is my favorite all-time Dolphin center but my favorite non-Dolphin player is Jason Kelce. He ranks up there with Walter Payton as a star athlete, family man, and a pillar to his community. Enjoy your retirement and hope to hear you broadcast football one day!🙏Today Fly Eagles Fly, but tomorrow Fins up! 🐬

It was most certainly an emotional day today. I, like many of you, I'm sure - shed a few tears upon hearing Jason Kelce is retiring I think it is quite safe to say that not only is Jason a Philadelphia fan favorite - he is indeed a National fan favorite. Truly has no one so exhibited the characteristics and traits of the team he played for and the city he represented any better than Jason. No one has worked harder, dug deeper, or bled more for his team than Jason Most certainly - there is no one who took more pride nor held more esteem for his teammates, coaches, or city than Jason Kelce. He is unrivaled. As a lifelong Chiefs fan, with a great love and appreciation for his brother Travis who represents my team and who wears the arrrowhead with great distinction, I can honestly say that we here in the heartland love Jason - almost as much as the people of Philadelphia do. He has built bridges and united people all over the country and throughout the NFL. No place was that more on display than when Jason lept out into the crowd during a Chiefs vs Bills playoff game this year Let me say that again - A CHIEFS VS BILLS playoff game. A fierce and competitive rivalry that was loaded with pressure and nerves on both sides, and yet, all together as one - Chiefs fans and Bills fans, and even Taylor Swift fans laughing and celebrating together- united by none other than the Center of the Philadelphia Eagles. Brotherly Love Indeed. Yes, I wept a little today as I watched Jason say farewell because I'm a fan. And even though I know Jason will move on to bigger and better things ahead, I will miss seeing 62 on Sundays. I will miss watching him compete and I will miss the way he has conducted and carried himself for 13 glorious years. He is worthy of the title "Hero" and in 2029 - most fittingly in OHIO - some town called Canton, a space will be waiting for him to take his place among other greats. Thank you Jason - God's speed to you.
