If I could suggest researching properties in Santa Catarina with greater potential for appreciation, I would tell you to look into Balneário Piçarras, Penha, Porto Belo and even Garopaba.

It’s expensive because it’s close to Balneário Camboriú. The land gets expensive there. My mother almost bought an apartment in Balneário Camboriú for $5 million but decided not to because it was too expensive

Não, aqui em Santa Catarina e no Rio Grande do Sul a tensão utilizada é de 220 V também, assim como em Goiás. O Paraná é o único estado da região Sul que utiliza 127 V.

My family owns several properties in the area, outskirts of Camboriú, and we never really had issues getting optical fiber cable when needed - maybe you'll have issues if you're absolutely super far away from either Brusque or Camboriú. I know quite a few people do prefer having Starlink nowdays, however.

There is a fair bit of mosquitoes in the evening so you definitely need screens on the windows and doors and repellent if you want to sit outside at night.

Do not even think about doing airbnb in Brazil for a house or apartment with out a Dorman to control who’s is coming in to your house. My friend tried twice and what suppose to be a small family end out being more than 30 people party day in night. With a lot of illegal activities…..
