Definitely 25 tiles first. Over on console it’s the limit, so it’s good to see content that fits our game too.
@OVERCHARGEDEGGАй бұрын
Having actually checked during next episode, the max tile pop cap on this map is only 60k cos it has a small build area! Two more milestones and we hit 25!

@@OVERCHARGEDEGGI actually appreciate the 25 tile build because I myself play on console
@saladinbobАй бұрын
Sure but then you're limiting the PC so someone's getting penalised and since he plays on a PC, why should he limit himself because you chose to buy shitty hardware incapable of running a decade old game at its fullest capability. It can be argued that the game launched - as so many, many games do - with the limit built in explicitly for the console market in the first place rather than launching it with 81 tiles. Why should we who paid good money for a platform that can run this stuff constantly be held back by consoles? For close to 20 years now the PC has been treated like trash because developers pander to consoles despite our hardware being superior. Make a stand for PC owners everywhere, Egg, use the 81 tiles mod.
@RJohn-hd1gqАй бұрын
@@saladinbob Maybe re read what I wrote before commenting some BS. I never said limit the series to 25 first, I said definitely 25 tiles first. No problem with unlocking the whole map, just do the vanilla option first. He did it with Orchid Bay.

@@saladinbobim pretty sure he meant to do 25 tiles first for console players like myself, and then expand to 81 for the modded pc

Just a note, seeing it somewhere on KZbin - you can speed up the row homes building by using a checker pattern, so that you can flow the whole block in two steps instead of 4. Nevertheless, I'm still not sure whether your city building is inspiring or discouraging me from playing c:s, as I don't ever get to that level of creativity and patience 😄
@benjaminjonathanjamessisko7095Ай бұрын
I didn't think I'd ever like anything more than Orchid Bay, but this is the first Episode of Rannoch that's really hooked me. Lovely build from a wonderful Creator. :)

Absolutely amazing build, I also quite often use the green cities 1x4 as row homes. They have such cute gardens in the back and if you do them in the back to back formation the gardens in the middle of the block turn into continuous backyards/courtyards. I will try out the B&Q option as well, the variation looks really good!
@dans.4222Ай бұрын
Going for a 25 tile build first and then progress into an 81 tile build worked really well with Orchid Bay. So I guess that approach would work very well with Rannoch.

I love the Brooklyn homes. Most orignal of many assets to look like Boston Homes. Very nice 🤩
@adamjones1805Ай бұрын
Really like the way you've used the Brooklyn and Queens row homes. A very nice suburb has developed. However, I'm not sure what your plans are for the railway line, and you did mention future metro plans, but I can't help but think an overground train station along the railway line in Custer either where the commercial zoning is, or some of the green space. I just think it would help people from Custer moving around the city. At the moment it appears it's only bus lines, and I think a train station might help alleviate some of that pressure. Just my 2 cents worth.👍

Wasn’t aware B&Q had rowhomes as well. Vanilla high density residential had their own, more San Francisco style, rowhomes (2x1) that are smaller than these, would make a good pair to slowly crawl in height.
