I'm surprised Melanie didn't provide a link in the description section, but I had a look on her website, and it's €27,500. I would have guessed €25,000 given the ruin and potential to rebuild it as a house. Seems fairly priced, though the bargain hunters are always unhappy, looking to almost get it for free.

Yes, you can raise it, as before putting a new roof, you have to make sure that the top of the walls are supporting the beams well enough. That is when you add 2 or 3 blocks to make it straight and safe.

@@homekeyportugal Thank you for the quick response, Im an engineer so technically I know what to do. But I wonder how I can find out what the regulations are regarding changing the total hight of the building from say 3 meters to 5 meters. The footprint does not change but the volume will differ.

The building is legal. You can restore it. If you want to make a full dwelling out of it which naturally needs plumbing and sewage, you can put a project in the council. We can point you to good architects that know the way.
