Review Take Hold of the Flame-- live in Tokyo or Eyes of a Stranger. His range will blow you away.

Yes, heartfelt reaction from you. You're not alone in those feelings. I have loved original lineup Queensryche for decades! They have SO MANY wonderful songs! As another commenter suggested, to hear the flip side of what the band and lead singer, Geoff Tate can do, check out "TAKE HOLD OF THE FLAME" Live in Tokyo 1984. They were just beginning then, but you wouldn't know it by how tight and good they are. IMO Geoff is the best singer I've ever heard! He has complete control, and always gives an emotional and intense delivery. They write great lyrics, and bring a bit of magic to each one. A couple other recommendations: "ANYBODY LISTENING?" "WALK IN THE SHADOWS" "JET CITY WOMAN" "ANOTHER RAINY NIGHT" And if you like those, their highly acclaimed concept album, "OPERATION:MINDCRIME" is a one long story told in flashback. Best to hear it in sequence, with headphones on and lyric sleeve in front of you. It will be quite a journey! I've never seen a better live band than them either! Enjoyed your reaction, and hope you do more of the original lineup of QR!

This is such an amzing song and remains one of my favorite's feom them. If you want a full vocal range fro Geoff Tate you need to react to "Eyes of a Stranger". It's an earlier track but solid.

This is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard. I cry every time. I used to have lucid dreams in my late teens and early 20s. I lost the ability as I got older. I lost my first love because of being afraid of the consequences. I regret it to this day. I tried to work it out in my dreams but the pain remained like in the song.

Lovely, honest react. I've been a huge fan them since 1988, and have seen them many times live. A good candidate, I think, off hand because there's soo many great songs of theirs , ...would be 'Take Hold of the Flame ' ...VERY popular reaction video. And then we'll go from there. ✌️

Leaving the second chorus unclosed is so, so smart. Further recommendations: "I Will Remember", from their MTV Unplugged session. "Eyes of a Stranger"... Killer, killer song. (literally?) Their cover of "Scarborough Fair" is stunning, and has very few reactions. I've been a fan since the 80s. --Shannon

You should listen to ALL of Queensryche's music to see how diversified they are.

P.S. I bet you'd LOVE a reaction video to this song by "The Fairy Voice Mother" entitled "Vocal Coach Reacts to Queensryche Silent Lucidity"! She's very knowledgeable, entertaining, and just delightful to hear and watch. ☺️

Hi I know you are probably getting many recommendations but if you want another queensryche tear jerker try BRIDGE I think it’s hysterical to hear people who shunned metal, never listened to it or took some one else’s opinion on it ,actually have their minds opened to the reality that most of these guys are legit musicians with talent unfathomable The appeal to it is on part it’s rejection of it

Revolution Calling is a harder song of theirs that is still relevant today.
