Darko’s softer songs will forever be their best material imo. I’m also with you with preferring songs like Come Home, but this was another beautiful song.

Darko can either make me feel either amped to the high heavens, or cry and feel absolute melancholy. Incredible the moment I first heard Darko. I knew they were creating something unique and game changing. Then later once I found out it was Tom and Josh. I lost my shit. Two excellent musicians and friends. Darko isn’t a band, It’s an experience. ❤❤❤ Donna and Ron have come around full circle. Through life and death they are together once again. It’s extremely sad. But something about it is so cathartic. Hearing them laugh with just the sound of the water and beautiful scenery Breaks me every damn time.

100% agree on this one not being the best "soft song" they've made. I still think the vocal pattern is too similar the whole way through and that the lyrics get repeated too much, but still... It's a very nice song and the meaning is really gripping. There's so many stories/movies about getting old and losing our one true love in the process, but it was efficient and I did reflect on the subject while listening to the song and music video, which means it did something well.

I thought the song was a bit repetitive but it's great and emotional nonetheless
