Yulia Parshuta (pronounced You-lee-ah, not Julia) is a mezzo-soprano singer, model and television presenter. I am glad that you noticed the difference in their voices because so many people who react to this think that their voices are the same while there is so much difference between them. It was a striking duet, i love this performance from the both of them. No this is not a competition, this is a show where the surprise element is the main attraction, the singers do not know with whom they sing with until the wall lifts off, they even hear their partner's voice distorted through their earphones so that they can not tell who he/she is. If you want to listen to more from Diana then i suggest "Baikal" it is an original song from Diana and it is also the sound track of the award wining film "Spirit of Baikal". Diana plays the spirit of the lake Baikal herself in the video clip which is magical and ethereal.
