Hi Bruce! I like how you passionately narrate your Zimbabwean journeys (and other episodes detailing other places as well). Despite the numerous documented challenges bedeviling our nation, you choose to focus mainly on the vast potential this country has. Indeed you were born in Zimbabwe! Being in the diaspora, this is the closest one can go home after some time...lol! I hope you will go back to visit all the other amazing places,...looking forward to the next amazing episode, I am now an avid follower!

Thanks very much Mukuru. I’m not a politician and I think everyone has enough media focusing on the negatives, because that’s what they do. I tell it as I see it and am not influenced by anyone except the people I meet along the way. So it’s well done to the Zimbabwean people for making me feel welcome and being so positive despite the hardships. I can not wait to go back and in fact if I hadn’t already paid for my trip to Botswana next month, I would be in Zimbabwe. Thank you for your comments and support.

Matusadona is pretty incredible and it's getting plenty of investment with way better road access. Visited at the height of the pandemic and it was special. @OverlandingwithBruce Жыл бұрын
Best Bridge has been fixed on the Zim side and is much better than it was. It's quite impressive but there is still too much back and forth that is needed making it very inefficient. Tatenda Bruce and the lads .. best time to see an abundance of wildlife at mana is August/September.. that’s when there is little standing water inland so the wildlife then are forced to the flood plain in search of water and they feast off the Albida pods which start dropping off in August onwards. I will be there first week of August and looking forward to it .. Gods heaven on earth “ it’s wild .. it’s natural and seems untouched as it is .. Another Overlanding channel to get addicted to. I follow Ryan 4X4Ventures, Edward Bath and Christoff of Get Out Go. You are all a credit to southern Africa. Such real people doing uncontrived down to earth real life adventures.

Hi Bruce, thank you for very interesting videos! I would really like to see the drawer system in your Defender, and while you at it an update on the rest of your equipment!

I was fortunate to have visited Mana Pools some many years ago, hard to believe that it was 1994... I was on a camping trip with some friends, we worked at the US Embassy in Harare. I loved every minute of it and the wildlife was incredible! When I was there we saw many crocs. I didn't notice any in your video, are they still there? Thank you for sharing your videos.
