I am a big "no waste" person as much as I possibly can be with food but struggle with an ED I tend to avoid a lot of certain foods or eat very little at a tim,e as I am trying to slowly recover and break myself of it. I can vouch that any protein or frozen fruit or veggie you have room for is likely to be "more affordable" in the sense you can usually buy portions in bulk and theylast longer cause most frozen foods keep and are healthier with not none all the time but far less preservatives than canned or shelf safe alternatives. My college experience and being relegated to a crockpot or a microwave when I cook for myself at home has taught me to shop frozen because you don't lose enough vitamins and nutrients in the cooking process to risk fresh spoiling, so unless you can use all of one product within a few meals, buy it frozen or freeze it after use if possible. The only difference is taste in which case if you know something will get eaten quickly\constantly you can spring for fresh, fresh just sometimes comes with the benefit of being a little "under ripe" if you're like me and prefer some fruits or veggies more that way because most are frozeen as they turn fully ripe which means being at their sweetest for most fruits and berry adjacent veggies like peppers tomatoes etc.

Thank you Dr. Nina👑 for always sharing knowledge with others. I always learn so much. Life is never the same after you read the labels. It stopped me in my tracks and makes me think again. When I want something sweet I try to buy the mini dessert so I'm not tempted to eat the whole thing. Been there done that.. I wanted to know can we mix the green beans & other vegetables up frozen, or do they need to be cooked for the smoothie? ❣🏁👑

You did the thing! Please continue to share with everyone you can, the importance of changing up the food. One truly cannot out-exercise a bad diet. Even if you are moving less, and happen to pick up a few pounds, at least your diet is not so excruciatingly horrible that you cannot get back into alignment with your goals!
