I was originally pissed that they didn't include this song in the movie remake. It's by far the best addition to this score. But then I imagined Emma Watson singing it and I understood why they omitted it.

its 2020, yes but still every song in this broadway playlist brings me tears. its so hard to move on from so many nice people you may never see again who you’ve worked with for 6 months working on this musical. this just hits the worst. i played the enchantress, and all the principles were sweethearts, all the chorus members were amazing, i miss them all. every memory from it is so sad, the beautiful stage and the little chaos we’d have getting on stage, the amazing claps we’d get, the beautiful voices of everyone, and the line ‘what i’d give, to return’ just hits so much, i’ll do everything to do that play again, just to go back in time.. i’ll miss everything and everyone, and we performed long back in february 2020, which was a couple months ago. treasure all your fun and memories, and know you’re in the good times, being young.

I recently saw a high school production of this play and heard this song for the first time. I have never bothered to see the film in any form...never had an interest. But, when I heard this song, I couldn't help but to tear up. And, now I keep coming back for more as a 40ish year old. Strangely, it makes me think if those who are wrongfully imprisoned and yet are doomed to serve long sentences.

I found out late yesterday that a very beloved director in my community passed away from old age. This was the last show he directed in my community last summer at the age of 90. I will be listening to these songs and thinking about him for the next few days and remembering what an amazing man he was plus the memories I have had with him.

When I saw the live action version of Beauty And The Beast I was disappointed that they didn't add this song, Evermore was a surprise, this song really adds more depth to belle, sucks the director didn't want to add any songs from the broadway version to the live action. Without these songs, beauty and the beast just isn't as good as it could be

I just got home from the movie and how disappointing--both Home and If I Can't Love Her were left out. So was Gaston's song. So was Human Again. They replaced the song the Beast sings, but it doesn't come close to the caliber of the Broadway. And Be Our Guest left me feeling wanting more. My friend had never seen the Broadway show, so she was pleased with it all. I am longing for the Broadway show. That's why I'm here.
