In my opinion, the Academy Awards of the past outshone the current ones. The year 1992 stands out as having a exceptional selection of films. My husband, Adam, and I, along with our four children, have a range of ages-our 4-year-old son, Tyler, our 6-year-old daughter, Zoey, our 8-year-old son, Ryan, and our 10-year-old daughter, Jana-all have their own favorite movies from 1992. and they are. 1. I'm glad the dance routine is included in this clip, because it was great when I first watched it live back then, and it still looks great. It's tough to choreograph for something like JFK, but Debbie Allen figured it out, and managed to convey the feel of the movie with dance movements. The number was very well received, and Debbie ended up doing the same thing for several more Oscar shows. Also, the winner here, Alan Menken, won this award so often in the 90s that the Academy later created a second category for movie scores.

Brad Fiedel and Stanley Clarke didn't make the cut because I disagree. The only three artists were Alan Menken. John 'Johnny' Williams and James Newton Howard did make the cut because I agree, finally. All three composers who were Oscar nominated for their scoring efforts.
