Beauty Photography Shoot: Behind The Scenes

Hey guys!
Sooo I know it's been a little while since I've uploaded a video, (nearly two weeks!)
I have been incredibly busy lately with things, but I will be posting a channel update very soon in regards to what I've been up to!
In the meantime I hope you all enjoy this behind the scenes video that my good friend Cola Saycocie filmed while he was visiting Melbourne. I know you guys have said before that you'd like to hear me a little more in the BTS videos, so I've tried my best to include the audio this time around.
Other than that, I hope you enjoy the BTS and see that sometimes you don't need an expensive studio to take simple (or crazy) beauty shots! :)

This was great, love bts shoot videos! I always worry that I'm too introverted etc! It was also interesting to see this was a shoot at home, I've a space at home but I worry that it's not professional enough! Most people aspire to studio's but I want to rock the home studio...not sure if I'm crazy! 😂

So pretty! I love shooting beauty at home....so easy to just set up something simple and have all of comforts of being at your own place. Just out of curiosity, do you ever show the model your shots SOOC? It may help her with posing if you do....just a thought from when I used to model! Gorgeous work as always :)

I know right!? It just makes everyone feel so much more at ease when you're shooting at home. :) If the models that I'm working with are a bit newer, or sometimes are struggling to get the poses, I definitely show them the photos regularly to give them more of an idea of what they look like on camera. With more experienced models and agency models like Caitlin I don't tend to show them as much unless we're having a break, especially with beauty as the photos can look completely different after retouching! :) Thank you for your kind words! x
