I always believe makeup brushes helped me grow my artistry. I love art and my first encounter with numerous different brushes was my high school art class. Back then, I honestly didn't know what was so different about each brush (only understood the difference of big and small detail brush). But, when I started makeup, I learned that all brushes DO have their own role! The more you try with different one's, the more you have to practice and learn the science of the shape, firmness, and technique of the brush. Idk, I just love makeup brushes, they make me feel so professional lol

This is totally ghetto, but I took the e.l.f. powder brush (the flat top kabooks that's all black) and I sort of banged the ferrule until it was flat, and it became like a super full, flat fan brush. Took some scissors and trimmed it a bit, and I swear to god it works just like the Nars Ita brush. It's way too simple a brush to pay 55 bucks for.

Loved this video! I have been expanding on my makeup brush collection this past year. I have to say I'm surprised you have had that brush for so long, but that's awesome because I've had the same revlon 3 piece set forever and I use them everyday lol. I thought I was the only one who used the same brushes for so long, and after getting others. I do use my other brushes as well, but I always go back and use my revlon brushes. I have no idea where they came from either lol. I'm pretty sure my mom got them for me as my first makeup brushes. Can't wait for the next video:)

That little black dual ended brush at the end is from WalMart. I have one that I have had forever. I do still see them at my WalMart from time to time, so if you are in the market for it, they do still carry it, at least at some of the stores. It comes in a plastic package but I don't know the brand or the name of it either.

It allows me to internalize and choose the right things for me versus just copy-catting. I have the last brush you talked about. I got it at walmart years ago.. it was one of the first brushes I bought for myself. And after expanding my brush collection I quit reaching for it. Then after I started watching your videos I saw you using it and I was like "wow I have a brush just like that!" I have it too and when she just showed it, I was on a mission to remember what brand it was! I bought mine about a year ago, so it wasn't too hard to think back. The brand is Studio Basics and it's carried at Walmart and Ulta, although I couldn't find that particular brush the Ulta website. I would love to see exactly how you blend out everything on your face using the stippling brush at the end! I have seen you do it a million times But I don't think you have ever went in depth on how or what you use to do it! I would love to know if you use a product like powder to run over everything at the end or if you just go in with no product on the brush. I have the eco tools bb/cc cream foundation brush, and I love it. It makes application so fast. (I used to use makeup sponges.) Also, it makes it so easy to get around the eyes.

Ulta has a brush similar to the one you've had since you were 16. It's in the drugstore makeup brush section I can't remember the brand but. It looks very similar and I absolutely love mine!!!!!
