Beauty Secrets: Preparation H on your FACE??

Attention: for those of you who do not watch entire videos...THIS IS NOT REGULAR USA Preparation H. This formula is from Greece and has DIFFERENT active ingredients in it than other versions. The ACTIVE ingredients you are looking for are Yeast Cell Extract and Shark Liver Oil. I found this tube on eBay and it specifically listed those active ingredients in the description. DO NOT confuse this with USA or Canadian Preparation H that uses chemicals that can cause the skin harm with frequent use.
I also don't think that I mentioned it, but I put this on only at night and I sleep in it. That's it. Wash it off in the morning. That's it. I have been using it for 2 months now with nothing but positive results.

This shark liver oil version of Prep H is available in Mexico and when I visit a pharmacy there, the product is usually displayed prominently as it's popular, especially for people visiting from the US and Canada due to a different formula. Prep H has been used for years on skin with overall good results from top to bottom..lol.

I had this irritating butterfly patch around my nose area from my thyroid condition. I have tried prescription creams that never work. So grandma told me to use preparation h. So my first thought was ok grandma. 🙄. One morning my face was so irritated and red, I went and bought the preparation h. As soon as I put it on I could feel the cool feeling on my skin. After applying it 3x a day for a whole week the area started to peel. Yall every day I washed my face I could see dead skin on the towel. This stuff works. This is now my face mask. If the link stops working, I go to eBay and search something like "preparation h shark oil" till I find ones shipping from Greece, they usually show the ingredients list on these, so I check and make sure there are NO OTHER "active ingredients" besides the yeast cell extract and shark liver oil. Never put filler under your eyes! You will regret it later. My great aunt many years ago used preparation H and at 70 she had NO wrinkles at all. I don't either now and I'm almost 60.

@@nefertaribaidy669 a lot of women use filler which is just a lotion. Prep- H actually will smooth out your wrinkles. Try it dear. You can also apply it then wait about 10 minutes and wipe off the excess. It also smooths the wrinkles out of your lips.

Diane Belanger, unfortunately no! I've never been able to wear a sunscreen on my face. They all make me break out, except for powder mineral makeup that have sunscreen. That's generally what I wear. I love Bare Minerals, its powder foundation has been my go to for over a decade.

Amber Crutchfield, my skin just feels so much softer and hydrated, I'm not sure "tighter" is the right word, it just feels like younger skin. All my dry ugly bumps went away that I had on my forehead, and I'm thrilled.

I get botox for wrinkles! This prep-h does something that tightens my skins and heals upset breakout and rosacea on me. I agree that this is not a wrinkle cure, but I don't think even Retin A will get rid of a bad wrinkle. (elevens, crows feet etc.)

I didnt use this as much this summer. My skin was happy and hydrated. But now that my skin is drying out again with the cold, its a blessing for keeping my skin looking good and not patchy. I loves the oily formulation when its drying out around areas like under my noes!! You can definitely put it on your eyelids, but keep it thin so it absorbs more in that area.

Thanks, my skin sounds like yours only with 25 more years of wear! I wore Bare Minerals all of my adult life until about 3 years ago when it became too drying and I am unable to wear any foundation with sunscreen or any sunscreen chemical or mineral without causing closed comedones. I have spent a small fortune.

Diane Belanger, I've heard people say they can't wear minerals because its too drying, but I haven't found that (not yet anyways) as I am still wearing a liquid primer and concealer underneath. Smashbox makes a color correcting primer that has some great natural oils in it that I love. Like spreading butter on!!

Here is the one I would buy, from Greece, (just search this item number in the eBay search field: 202056828604) I don't usually buy the ones from Canada because sometimes it has one of the active ingredients that is the same as the USA one, including the shark oil and yeast cell. You want to get the one that just has the natural sounding ACTIVE ingredients.

So of course I had to immediately buy this and try it. Right?! Well... I just recieved it literally yesterday and am trying it but dear god the smell of this stuff is horrendous! I'm thinking that maybe I will.... possibly become immune to the smell it If this helps at all and doesnt make my face freak out entirely like some things seem to do. I just know I definitely could not leave only this on without putting my moisturizer over it to help get rid of the smell! I did not expect the smell! Yes this video is old I know but... I just watched it recently lol hope it helps my face cuz nothing seems too! Ebay is your best bet. On eBay, search "preparation h shark oil", check to make sure it also has yeast cell extract. You will then see listings shipping from Greece. You should be able to get a tube for 12 or 13 US dollars.

I love your advice!! So helpful!! By the way, it is true about the petroleum jelly!! The key is to use Alba brand un petroleum jelly from wholefoods.I saw an older lady in her 80's thats face looked unbelievably wrinkle free!! Im a nurse, so Ive seen alot of older ladies!!This old lady swore by vasoline, so I researched it and the organic one without petroleum in it is the one to use. Supposedly it preserves moisture by forming a protective layer over the skin.
