I’m sure you have research this but just in case you haven’t there are some nappies that are recyclable and take only a few years to decompose. That could be a good in between option.

Yeah there are several brands that are compostable or recyclable, which is great. I honestly don’t know if I could do cloth ones after hearing my mom telling me how horrible it was to spend hours everyday washing/boiling them, and how harsh they were for the baby’s skin. Mind you this was back in the late 70s, when regular nappies were a luxury in our country. But she only had to do it with my older sister; when she had me in the late 80s she was SO HAPPY to be able to buy Pampers😂. Compostable ones sound like a great alternative, specially if you already compost at home.
