I am SO happy! I'm an esthetician here in The Woodlands and I'm watching your right this moment on KPRC! I watch you everyday and always admire how gorgeous you look and I only feel sad that you don't know about Beautycounter! Oh and my CounterTime line has lasted me anywhere from 4-9 months using it twice daily~ everything but the pads last a great many months! I cut my pads in half to get more bang for the buck!

I just started using this line and I'm in love with it! Thanks for such a comprehensive review. My two favorite products (so far) are the cleansing balm and the Rejuvenating Toner Pads. They are effective and gentle! While BC is a little pricier than some skin care lines, I think it is well worth it. BTW, I love that shade of purple on you! That is your power color! :)

Hey there. Been watching you for a while and I am really enjoying your channel. I just wanted to leave you my tip to reduce chemicals. I use Simple wipes to remove my makeup. Much less chemicals. But I use the wipe first and then my face wash. That way I am removing any chemicals that the wipe may have in it before it has a chance to seep into my skin. The wipe does a really good job at removing my mascara and eyeliner. As a bonus there are less stains on my wash clothes. 😊

I love this and all of your videos. I look forward to the new one each week. I have also been using the Beauty Counter products for a few weeks now and I'm loving everything in the line. I recently ordered two of the lipsticks, Petal and Twig and really like those too. They are pretty individually as well as mixed together and very moisturizing. Since I am also a lover of Loreal 115 and have a little stash myself... I thought I would pass that info along. My real reason for writing is that I would love for you to do a video on Makeup Brushes. The make up brush thing can be overwhelming as to what shape to use for what purpose. What are your favorites? What's the best shape for a contour brush, highlighter brush, etc.. Thank you so much for sharing all that you do.

***** That's a good suggestion, and you're right, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out what brush is for what technique. I actually went to the MAC store initially and had a sales associate help me stock up on brushes. They're pretty good! I told her what I was looking to accomplish, and she pulled out the right brush and showed me how to use it. It's a great place to start until you become familiar with the different shapes and sizes and their uses.

Okay Dominique, just ordered the glasses! I need a new pair on my nightstand for reading. I also ordered another pair from another site that come in multi lens magnification. You are right, conventional beauty and personal care products do contain many harmful toxins. Beauty Counter is a nice line. Now there are so many safe, effective clean lines to choose from since you first shot that video! Many budget friendly lines now too.

Just started watching and am a fan! I, too recently ordered products from Beautycounter because I feel strongly that all the chemicals in the common products we are using are literally "killing" us. Many of the ingredients found in our countries brands are banned in Europe. So, good on you for showcasing some natural products. Also, google Ava Anderson products. Similar to Beautycounter philosophy. Especially love your hair tutorials!

I suggest if people are looking for products that focus on safety to use the EWG's website to rate those products. The EWG is the Environmental Working Group, a not for profit site that rates all sorts of products based on the safety of their ingredients. They even have an app where you can scan the barcode of products and get the rating right away! My tween and her friends are having fun with this. Young women especially teenages use on the average of 10-15 products a day...they should know what they are using and that it is safe from hormone altering, cancer causing ingredients. We all deserve that. Check out the website...I never knew about it until researching Beautycounter (which rates very low btw.)

that's ok! I've been there. We aren't all organic or "all natural" but one of the safest out there. I am appauled with all i've been learning lately...Formaldehyde, a cheap preservative, a KNOWN carcinogen is found in "No More Tangles," & "Mr Bubbles," (and so many cosmetics) is absolutely unacceptable. I can't believe that companies aren't regulated so they can pretty much add whatever they want and sell it cheap. Laws need to be tightened, and that is what Beautycounter is doing...lobbying for regulation (some senators told us they weren't interested in changing the non-existent laws.) I am fully confident in the safety. With such a reputation to protect, and with the women who are heading up the company...the have the best of the best looking to protect reputations. It's a big claim to say they are safe...there are many companies who have seen their profits decline or people questioning their ingredients and they are spooked. I am just happy to be apart of a company that is not only growing so fast, but has a social mission. I love educating teens and tween so that they are aware of what they are purchasing...for me it's all about the education as well.

I make my own facial moisturizer and I couldn't be happier :) raw shea butter, organic unrefined coconut oil, argan & rose hip seed oils, with a bit of lavender oil. A bit of heating, cooling, whipping and nightly applied and I'm happy as can be :)

I LOVE the makeup line! They concealer pen is absolutely amazing!!! I even use the darker colors for contouring. Also love the lip sheer in twig (best nude color I've ever used). I also use their blush and eye makeup, but best of all love knowing I"m not using anything harmful that could get into my body through my pores!

Hi, I watched some of the videos and usually you ask for some ideas for upcoming videos that you can make. In my opinion any video you make will be a success just because you are a very interesting person BUT to make ur videos more valuable and more interesting I would talk about how to be successful, how to achieve success and where we should be searching our success. What is the key of success for woman. Just something that does not involve beauty and make up. Even though I love love ur tutorials I would like to see you talk about valuable, life changing subjects that at the end of the day matters for each one of us. Love

Do you always use only organic or all natural products? I've seen some of your tutorials and am sure that there are many conventional products that you put on your skin i.e.. Neutrogena face wash (that you mentioned)...ugh! have you read those ingredients? I thought you would be an advocate for clean healthy products that are put on our biggest organ.... our skin. Thanks for this msg, I only recently got to buy a few BC products while travelling, unfortunately not available for international shipping yet.
