My rarest and hard-to-find doll was the original sasha rock angelz, selling only for £20! The seller didn't know it was a rare and pricey doll lol, but her hair felt like out of the box condition and she didn't seem like she had been played with much, I finally managed to put new clothes/accessories on her thanks to the reproduction version.

❤ Oh Joey Peaches and cream Barbie was a real blast from the past, I received her as a child in the 80s one christmas and Crystal Barbie another christmas, I adored them and kept them immaculate, unlike the others I had.

I got rid of my Barbie collection a long long time ago… but I kept a couple rare ones: Cruella DeVille from the 101 Dalmatians bought in New York when the movie came out, a 1962 blonde braided hair pony tail doll (original) dressed in a repro commuter set outfit, a repro from the mid 90s of the 60s Enchanted Evening doll with platinum hair. Also kept loads of 60s to 90s fashions … couldn’t bare to get rid of them so they have sat in a trunk for the past 12 years.

Don't worry, a lot of these dolls are rare/hard to find in the US, too. Especially if you're looking for NIB. Especially the Bratz ones. Your reasoning for preferring new in box dolls is also cute.

I own a lot of the older Barbie Fashionistas from 2015 to 2019 I guess, and the ones that I think are the rarest are the Raquelle with red and black bodice dress, Donut Girl, Love Sweater Fashionista, and the Skipper Girl with the shaved head, Malibu top, and camo skirt.

I have some rare ones, I have most of the Anastasia dolls. I have Lady Tremaine and Anastasia Tremaine from the Disney Store Cinderella boxed set (I need Drizella!) I also have an Odette. I have the Mattel Evil Queen from the 90s, I have most of the She-Ra Netflix dolls. I have a LOT of Megara dolls, I just keep finding them at thrift stores.

Odette! I had that Odette, she was my favorite when I was little. I was holding mine in my preschool portrait. I lowkey want to get a new one now that I'm an adult, mine fell apart because I carried her around so much 🦢👑❤ Also, if you're a Scooby Doo fan give Mystery Incorporated a shot, Fred is hands down the funniest character in that one and has the best character arcs

My rare doll I’m looking for right now is a 1994 Polly pocket themed Janet doll. I have the Barbie, Stacy, and Whitney from the line, but need Janet to complete it. I can always find a few listings of her, but they’re usually listed around $70-100 USD which is way more than I want to pay, especially since I want to take her out of the box like the others. I’ve seen a listing before for $40 on Macari that was obviously already snapped up and bought, so I just keep searching periodically to see if I can get the same luck some day.

Ah! I desperately want the first ever holiday Barbie! I had her as a child and I loved her so much! I have no idea how or why, but my local Woolworths had a huge pile of them on sale - completely off-season, selling them for cheap and presumably years after their original release (I wasn't born until 1986 and I remember it vividly, so I think I must have been at *least* 4!) But I remember my mum being surprised by how cheap they were and buying one to save for my birthday, which was a big deal to me because we were a low-income family and I didn't often get the fancy Barbies with big dresses. I don't think I'll ever find a cheap one again, though!

I own a Pink Splendor Barbie from 1996 still in her box and a Billions of Dreams Barbie from 1997 too. They are both special dolls that you had to be a part of the Barbie club to get back in the day. The Imperial Fabergé Barbie from 1998 with blonde hair is the most expensive I own. They are all incredibly beautiful!

I am lucky to own Tiana, Jade and Yasmin. I love Flashback Fever Fianna as it was uncommon for her to be produced with blue eyes. Jade was probably the hardest to find but I managed to find her at a car boot for a reasonable price and maybe one day I’ll find Fianna for a reasonable price. It’s just a shame that the price of Bratz have skyrocketed because of the YK2 fashion, I struggle finding them at charity shops and eBay. Most are overpriced if they have their complete outfits, I know it's impossible to own every doll but I like to try and get as many as I can and I wish I started collecting them sooner. 😭

The jewel and hair Barbies must be rare in Minnesota cause I've never seen or heard of that set... And they are SOOOOOO Gorgeous..... T-t-they made dolls of Alex, Sam, and Clover from Totally Spies?!? What?! For me it's the Disney Descendants movie 1 dolls (Mal Isle of the Lost, Evie Isle of the Lost, Carlos Isle of the Lost, Jay Isle of the Lost, Mal and Maleficent two pack, Lonnie Auradon Prep/Ben's Coronation, Jane Auradon Prep, Audrey (Auradon Prep/Ben's Coronation) I think there was a Jane and Fairy Godmother two pack maybe .. oh also Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay, and Ben for Ben's Coronation and the Mal and Ben two pack for his Coronation, also Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay's Auradon Prep look dolls) let me be clear.... For descendants since Cameron's death (which is wrong cause its capitalizing on his death) any of the Carlos dolls and I mean ANY of them EXCEPT the Descendants 3 4 pack which is Mal, Evie, CARLOS, and Jay all together in their biker like outfits... Any Carlos doll EXCEPT the one in that four pack is CRAZY expensive sadly that means Isle of the Lost Carlos, Auradon Prep Carlos, Ben's Coronation Carlos from the first move, Cotillion Carlos, Carlos and Jane Cotillion two pack, and the basic Descendants 2 Carlos doll from Descendants 2, and basic Carlos doll from Descendants 3 are ALL rare and Descendants 3 is only ONE YEAR old... And yet even the basic Carlos is Overpriced because sellers are trying to profit of Cameron's death... Sorry this is so long it's okay if you don't read it.

I had a few Barbies stored in our crawl space under my old house before we moved to the new house that has a concrete basement where they are stored now , I have a question what do I do with the boxed Barbies that a few Barbies got the boxes trashed and gross cause of the crawl space being sand floor so the boxes some how got moisture in the box and deteriorated it and the doll smells a little moldy I found out I can put the naked doll in a zip lock bag to get rid of the smell with baking soda and wash the clothes in a laundry mesh bag and wash it in the washer machine
