I love this Hymn so much (after hearing it for the first time when I discovered this exact video). I searched KZbin for other renditions and while I've found quite a few, none of them come even close to being as incredibly moving as Richard's version. The organ is simply stellar... Richard's playing and registrations complement the choir and the cathedral so well, it sends shivers down my spine every time I listen to it. 🥲

We didn’t see it in the video, but in the huge screen behind the high altar at Winchester one of the many stone sculptures is a small statue of St Cecilia.
