@@Balletified yeah, I would recommend starting with a rice grain or two amount and then working up if you need a little more coverage 😊 Also, make sure your skin is well hydrated before applying any foundation. These should help 😊

@@moonlune7254 yeah, you can use it as an eyeshadow base and layer powders on top.. if your eyeshadows are creasing, I would recommend getting an eye primer. Nars clear one is brilliant..

This was such a thorough review, I loved it. The eyeshadow look you did is stunning! I also have oily eyelids and sometimes its such a pain to use creams on top of a primer, but these blended out so beautifully! The colorfixes are definitely calling out my name haha.

I've been considering getting both of her foundation kits myself because the value, shade range, and her work is obviously amazing, but I've only swatched it once before and remember it being very thick and haven't been sure if it would be a good purchase for me because I just typically prefer more fluid formulas. This was the best video I've seen describing the Danessa Myricks foundation and I loved all the swatches of her stuff on Instagram! New subscriber and Instagram follower!

Thank you so much 🤗 You are right, the foundation is quite thick, similar in texture to Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer. Also, it's very pigmented so a tiny dot is enough for an entire face. I also like that I can sheer it down with oil/moisturizer to get a sheer finish or just it straight up as a concealer/full coverage foundation. I love the versatility

This is such a beautiful video. I too love Danessa. I want to pick up her colourfixes but my delay has always been what shades to pick up. I definitely will be picking up some and the foundation. Yes plz do a separate video on the Colourfix and how to use them. I have her powder highlighter palette. Cozzette brushes have also been on my list but many have been out of stock

Thank you so much 🤗 Sorry it was a long one, I tried to use as many products as possible. Maybe start with a couple of your most used colours in the Colorfix range. It will give you a feel for whether you like the texture or not. I will share the shades I own on Instagram so hope that helps 😊 Cozzette brushes are amazing for these cream products. They wash off easy too considering how long lasting these products are!

Hi, I am in love with this review. Thanks for taking the time out and sharing. I own some of DM products. But for some reason mostly all of my colorfix tubes has dried out. Even the ones that were not opened and were brand new. Have you experienced that with your products ? Thank you

Amazing! Excited for your haul! So sorry to hear that the foils caused some irritation on your eyes. May I know more about what happened? Was it itchy? The oil is lovely! I love the smell, texture and how light it is.. and this is coming from someone who has oily skin 😊

Beautylashes19 I haven’t been wearing eye shadow since March and the foil made my eyelids itchy and red. I removed it from my lids and keep cleaning with bioderma water. Foil may have been the irritant after pandemic no makeup days.

I have a neutral undertone so I prefer mixing TO01+TY01 (or N4.5).. but if you want to purchase one shade, I would recommend N6 (it looks slightly warm on my neutral skin tone).

Yes, they are creams so they crease even with an eye primer..

Since I don't live in India, I honestly have no idea what brands are available there. I would suggest a quick search on Google to find options.

Unfortunatrly all, but 3 of her foundations are neutral and yellow based. There are 2 peach shades which are quite dark and white one for mixing. So, in my case, it is too complicated to be used daily. 😶

I am not sure of your skin tone but I have never had any trouble matching the varying skin tones of the models I work with. I have been able to create everything from the fairest to the deepest shades in different undertones. Personally I can use N6 on its own (slightly warm on its own but looks ok with a lighter powder) or I mix TO01+N2.75 to create a neutral olive shade with medium depth.
