I was a kid in the late 70's & every girl I knew wore Sweet Honestly. We all loved the little jars of cream sachet, pins with solid perfumes, scented body powders, all very popular

They should bring it back. I also use sweet honesty. Lip glosses and many other product. I heard an Asian company bought Avon. I remember the TV commercials with the ding dong thing of door. Avon calling. My aunt was a rep. And so did I. If was nice and fun.

My dad always wore the Indian Cheiftain cologne my mom got from Avon in the 70’s. He passed in 2010. In 2015, I went to a yard sale, and found some, full bottle in original box. The lady had it marked for $3. I told her why I was buying it, because the smell reminded me of my dad when I was a child. She gave it to me for free. I literally cried at her gesture. It meant more to me than anything!

Great video! I was 14 in 74. My mom had an Avon lady, she would leave samples of lipstick, the different fragrances and so much more.... great memories! I also have an Avon lady but it's not like it used to be, she doesn't offer samples, just a money back guarantee and it takes forever to receive my order, plus everything is so expensive! I miss the good old days!

I remember so many things from that catalog. In early teens I wore Sweet Honesty and moved up to the Honeysuckle. Wow have not thoughtful Avon in years and now realize how I miss it. Thanks for posting!

I'm from England 🇬🇧 my nana had that glass pineapple with lotion in. It was in the kitchen next to the sink. My mum has it now. It's nearly 50 years old + still going strong - although with different lotion in 😂 my mum had the snail too . My auntie was an avon lady + made a good living from it. My Nana + my auntie are dead now but I always think of them when I see vintage avon .Every Xmas everyone got avon because of my auntie- as soon as anyone went to her house they got a book thrust in their face + she made them order 😂 love the old catalogues ❤ The bottles were fab back then I wish I still had them all I only have a few now. My favorites are a glass apple that had red bubble bath in + a cat with a fan + a fancy 👗 😂 I have a couple of the glacè pins too

I have the Dutch Girl, a kitten in a basket, a bear, a green Christmas boot, and 2 dachshunds. I have a beautiful "jeweled" pocket watch style pendant that had solid perfume in it. It was my mom's and I think it might be Avon as well. I wear it on a chain sometimes. I remember so many of those items from the catalogue! 😊

I got my Spring decorations out today, and I came across two 1984 Avon porcelain Bunny salt, and pepper shakers. I miss Avon. I loved it when the Avon lady came to the door. Bonne Bell was also sold door to door.

I was pretty young when this would have been out, but I do remember some of those items and I had a few of them. I loved Avon and the little tiny lipsticks were the coolest sample. I wish I had all my little decanters and so on, but it was gotten rid of long ago. Thank you for sharing!

I’m five min in, wondering if my favorite, Arianna, will be invented yet ! When my rep/boss came to introduce me to sell the line, she smelled so good wearing this brandynew Arianna scent......I got and sold it, too, never a big clientele, I liked it, but, as we know happens, it never smelled so delicious on me ! I Loved the monthly meetings...(I was a blessed Mo. of 2 beautiful babies under 3....) Loved the ‘prize’ every month, just couldn’t get the sales, (which WAS The Point!) being mostly home with a nursing baby and her brother! Thank You. This was Fun ! Surprised how I enjoyed it...maybe partly bc you don’t overpower our pleasure in browsing; you remain calm and pleasant throughout....

Thanks Hon for your video!! I have so many memories of Avon growing up. When I was about 4, my Mom would have a neighbor friend come by w her Avon samples and catalogues, I would lay on the floor looking at the pictures in these catalogues! Then she always left me those teeny fairy size lipsticks!! Anyone remember those? Later on we'd always get stocking stuffers Avon 🌹💐👈🌸 the DEW KISS LIP TUBE WAS THE BOMB...I sold Avon as a young woman and I sure miss their PINK BAR SOAP it smelled sooo good and left your skin petal soft! Soap on a rope ! It was so hard to avoid ! In high school halls, all we smelled was Brut and English Leather.....WoW.....an aphrodisiac if I ever got to smell again, for sure ! What a ubiquitous gift it was ! Think of the money put up every month for a lovely new catalogue to be published ! Just to see that photo set up in the yard with the white birdcage and bottle featured....what it all cost......wow.....did we appreciate it all? For me, it was all so unattainable.....I’d spend over my profits, not having the volume....of sales.....but what a pretty nice-smelling lovely fun distraction for me during The Baby Years.....Avon and LeLeche League meetings were my entire social life and how I loved Both - from organic no-sugar Moms to frivolous beauty fun!

Ok this is my childhood! My mom even sold Avon in the sixties! They had a sample case with product ms and this round blue box with tiny little lipstick sample bullets. I was mesmerized by those samples. I’m pretty sure that’s what sparked my love of makeup!

I love it. My mom sold Avon when I was in Kindergarten in 1977-78. She used to take me with her sometimes and go door to door or drop off orders. I also had a lot of the little girl jewelry, perfumes, decanters, lip gloss/stick, soaps and the toys. I have only one or two of the perfume bottles left.

Oh wow, I remember these products. I was a teen at that time. I remember the bird nest soaps, the little white chair with the pink cushion too. Had those lip pops. The astringent in the white bottle. My brother had the zwild zcountry cologne, and my little brother had the Snoopy brush and comb set. My mom's BFF was our Avon lady. Thank you for the trip down memory lane!

Oh wow! I remember the doggie too! My mom still has the snow bird. Those creams smelled so good. I remember a lotion called desert flower. Mom would put it on my hands. It smelled kind of dry been sweet and powdery. I really enjoyed this video. Brought back so many warm memories.

Avon'd jewelry was always made so well. May mom, my Aunt in England and I were all AVON Representatives. I was a bottle and jewelry collector. I truly love them Christmas Tree Broaches they put our once a year. I could write a book about my love for Avon. I'm so happy you love it too.

6:29 yay! I saw the Topaze bottle. My mom still has that bottle on her curio case with all the whimsy figurines of porcelain and lead crystal. I love nthe vintage catalog. Wow, most of my favorite bottles are all in this catalog! I was a kid then and remember it all. Not sure if you realized that the crystal looking cologne bottle turned into a candlestick. Avon made a lot of those. I have a set of red ones I use at Christmas. I had a little chuckle when you said sachit. It's sashay.😊

Back in the fifties, we lived in the country and had an Avon rep. Mom always bought things. She gave her samples. Later in life, I sold Avon. I won the musical bride doll for outselling anyone in my district. I'm thinking about selling since I don't have anyone to leave it to. This was fun.

I remember buying the evergreen Christmas scent because we had started buying artificial Christmas trees that year! I remember how beautiful our house smelled. I think I remember the following year they came out with bayberry candle scent and I bought ten spray cans of it! I haven’t been able to find a scent that was so full of Christmas spirit and fun til this day!

I wish I had an my grandmother's old avon things and catalogs. My dad had an auction and so much was going on I didn't get to go through all her things and keep much. Also at the time this stuff was not as popular. I would of love to share all the stuff for people to see.

I loved avon, i was 14 in 1974, i had a perfume from avon i always wondered if i could get it again. This is dixie from texas. It was a scent that was in a glass looking round ornament The smell was glorious. I wish they would bring some of these back. I remember the swan, smelled good also.
