My aunt (born 1907) had complete scent sets from Avon. Bath oil, cream, powder, perfume, sachets....absolutely everything. The only thing she'd ask for presents was an Avon scent item so the family would get together to decide who bought what for her. Always smelled so good and the woman never wore a lick of makeup. I miss the old powder puff sets but they're so hard to find nowadays

It’s funny you did this topic. One of the first ASMR experiences I ever had was from my moms Avon lady. I was about 7 or 8. She had the most soft, silky voice. We had a huge formal curvy (question mark shaped) 70’s couch in our living room. They would sit at one end and I would lay down at the other end and listen to her go through her product line. I would lay there and think, keep asking questions mom. Come to find out later in life, her voice did the same thing to my mom, who didn’t know what ASMR was until six years ago. Mom said she would sit there almost falling asleep and would indeed ask her questions to keep her talking. Lol. I said that’s ASMR. You are into it you just didn’t know it.

In 1976 she ordered a Red Christmas Candle for Christmas .It smelled so good /I couldn't stop sniffing its scent / We had that candle for a long time / Every holiday my mom would pout the tree up and put that Christmas candle under the tree / About 5 years ago I ordered a replica of the same candle from Amazon /My sister has the original one /Brings back memories ...
