I think I would have preferred to see more silver not a dark grey. Also I feel like the ends needed to be lifted more. It was still kinda orangey. Maybe dark grey shadow roots with silver ends. I feel like the color was kind mousey and drab.

The makeup is obviously not an everyday casual look. When you go out someplace special, you want to look glamorous. Dark makeup is perfect for nighttime. A good daytime look for her would be a lighter color of eyeshadow, subtle eyeliner, light blush high on the cheekbone for lift, and pink lipstick with a lipliner. There's a KZbin channel with an older woman who's a professional makeup artist, who shows how to do your makeup to look younger if you're and have gray hair. I think going gray instantly is the best way, so your hair looks the right shade of gray right away without looking like a skunk. Lol!

That looks good. Just had my hair dyed what I thought would be silver/lavender. It’s bleach blonde/lavender. Should I ask my stylist to fix it? I went from natural grey/brown to the blonde. Not really happy with the results. She did the same to my daughter but she just wanted silver. She went from black to bleach blonde. 🤨

I know this is an old comment, but if you want your roots lighter, then apply the bleach to them first.... The hair closest to your scalp will process faster than the rest of your hair because of the heat emitting from your head. Most people want their roots at the same level or darker, so the apply bleach after the rest of the hair is saturated. So, if you want "hot roots" or lighter roots for your color job, do them first, then apply the rest.

This was a very poorly done "tutorial" video. They channel did not describe what products they used; how long the processing takes; the step-by-steps. Additionally, the make-up at the end was extremely dated and ruined the final look of the model (she is youthful and beautiful, and did not need all that circa 1980s old lady make-up). I agree with others in the comment section that the model would have been better suited with a more silvery grey, than the darker, ashier color used. Lastly, the music is absolutely obnoxious and I muted the sound.

That’s reality bad for your hair to do it that fast. Real unacceptable to ask a color stylist to do that for you. They would want you to wait and condition your hair before they might have to lift it again. Then the gray color can be put in.
