My kids go back the day after Labor Day and that makes me so happy. I am just so excited for school to start and that is because I homeschool and that means specific bed times, structured Mon-Friday and field trips which I am so happy with.

Bay house or vacation house or vacation home! How awesome!!!! We had a vacation home in Clearlake Ca when I was growing up. It was so fun for me as I always loved, loved cleaning it up. It was just a big stationary trailer with a giant screened in patio which is where us kids slept. It was so much fun.

If you’ve never had baseboard heat before I just want to “warn” you when you turn it on for the winter it’s going to smell like your house is going to burn down but it’s fine, it’s just kind of “burning” off the dust etc. and the smell goes away after a bit. Love the new place!

Adding raisins in rice that is what people from orient do which is very tasty,you could also try to golden fry some almonds and add them just before you serve,sprinkle them on top of the rice,very yummy 😋

An idea when you declutter your closet you can bring the stuff to the bay house so you dont have to bring clothes every time you go back and fourth that is what my parents do for our beach house in Rhode island they have clothes that they dont wear often and leave it there so they dont have to pack so many clothes, since you have a washer and dryer.
