Coffey Outdoors thanks! I enjoy tanning fur, and hooping beavers is a nice way to finish them. I have made quite a few other things with them too. Thanks for watching!

Hi Jeromy .. would you have the details and measurements to make your box for bending saplings to make hoops ? thanks much !
@jeromycooley-outwestadvent5790 Жыл бұрын
Hey Gary I definitely will do that for you. It works great, and I always have willows ready. Some of the willows sit in the box for months before I use them, but time is your friend when it comes to shaping them.

Beautiful work! Can I ask what you use for tying the pelt to the hoop? Is it also leather or a different material?

Thanks for the comment! I’m using an artificial sinew that is waxed. It is incredibly strong, and has a great look to it. I find it on Amazon for about $15 for 300 yards of material.
