Doug I am 64 years old and have followed you for a number of years- I got so excited when I saw you in that pack boat that I started yelling - He is gonna go get Beaver sticks to to carve a Beaver stick with. My neighbor came over to see what all the commotion was and here I am giddy as a eight year old. This made my day brother. You are a visionary artist in both wood and film. I loved how you left the evidence of the beavers signature on the piece you chose. I live near a river and will come across a chewed off branch. I have made walking sticks leaving the signature at the top. Well done.

The beaver is cute. I seem to focus on animals figures to try and carve. Mine are not realistic , kinda on the cartoon side until I get better at carving eyes . Thanks Doug
