Nice one Max!! Finally, you powered one up! It looks really promising and with a little more work, you could get it working like it should. Thanks for sharing.😁

Hey! Just thought I'd say hi, I actually just received a Hitachi V-222 from you this morning. I'll be using it to learn how to use an oscilloscope, and then for repairing and testing vintage audio equipment amplifiers etc. I'm glad to see it came from a good home, or was at least taken care of while it was with you. I was informed about the Hitachi scopes during a discussion with a few people in the vintage audio repair hobby, apparently they're really nice, simple, quality scopes for both doing audio work, and for beginners.

3:18: Looks like somebody was planning to solder the Allen Bradley style resistor to the solder strip but forgot. I don't see that the wire is soldered to the strip.
@MaxKoschuh3 жыл бұрын
you are right!!! Have to check if this is a problem...

you can see that there is another copper wire in that solder lug. So there is definitely a connection missing. I will do a video on this topic. Thank you so much!

I've looked everywhere but couldn't find the missing connection. I even thought I've mixed up the plugins. When I finally realised: it is an optical illusion! At some angle it looks like there is a loose wire. But it's clearly not. That's so crazy.

Hi Max, no activity for quite some time. I hope you are alright, hopefully just "drowning" in work (and money) ?
